When Take N' Play was redesigned in 2014 with Wooden Railway-style magnets, a lot of us took it for granted. The Push N' Puff model of Thomas is much higher quality than today's Thomas merchandise, that's for sure.

I may not like the round one way magnets for Take N Play Thomas line but some of these engines are really cool!

I'm sorry, I'd much rather scotch tape a load of plush foam to an engine than have *a giant gap in the boiler*

The Take-n-Play Steaming effect, Thomas looks alright for what it is it is really cool of those steam features.

Honestly, I'm really glad The Adventures of Thomas was cancelled it really didn't seem good at all NOOOOOOO I CANT BELIEVE ENTERTRAINMENT IS CLOSING That Motorized set with Diesel and Thomas looks interesting, a nice way to get a few engines, rolling stock and lots of track That Plairail train covered with AEG characters dosent really interest me it just looks messy imo All those Bachmann vans look absolutely stunning!

It honestly doesn't surprise me that retailers like EnterTrainMent Junction are closing and that displays that were used to sell Thomas merchandise are being sold themselves. Mattel has been horribly mistreating Thomas since late 2017, when they pulled his TV show from PBS despite him having twice been a long-running staple of that network, and when they replaced the long-running and beloved Thomas Wooden Railway line with Thomas Wood. Back when Thomas Wooden Railway (the original Thomas Wooden Railway) was still being sold, A.C. Moore was still in business, since they sold Thomas Wooden Railway. Its sales helped keep the store in business, and I was one of their loyal customers. When Mattel made the mistake of replacing Thomas Wooden Railway with Thomas Wood, A.C. Moore didn't stock that because they knew it was an inferior product. As a result, A.C. Moore went under. Even when Mattel brought back Thomas Wooden Railway in 2022, rather than keep a good thing going by introducing new engine models in the following years, at most, they just give us new Day Out With Thomas models. If Mattel would simply put a fraction of the same effort as their competitors, I wouldn't have had to cut ties with them in 2023. I've jumped ship to many of Thomas Wooden Railway's competitors, such as BRIO, Orbrium, NameTrains, and ZanyTrains because they put more effort into making their wooden railway trains good than Mattel has in two years. I wish one of those companies had the Thomas license instead. Mattel's horrid mistreatment of Thomas is the reason why I've started two petitions to get Thomas back on the right track, and links to them are in the description of my Wooden Railway Discussion of Orbrium's Track Maintenance Crew.
