Awesome! I work manufacturing interior trim parts for Chevy trucks, and one of them includes a trailer brake controller. I always wondered how it works and what that spring loaded slider is for. This answers my questions.

By not knowing how to use the trailor break gain, can it cause your tires to blow up?

Does it affect the truck itself? Like the brakes and the transmission? Or is it just to control the brakes on the trailer, providing it has any?

My truck is a o4 tundra and it doesn’t have a control . I can’t get the brakes to work at all. Do trailer brakes require a control box to function?
