How much of pine tar do you think I'd need for a really big version? One that holds a lot of people...and food and medicines and beverages Im trying to rebuild the ark but the stables will be rooms for people to live

Hey, hard to tell ? But I would estimate about 1,5 litres for my boat. That is turpentine, tar and linseed oil mixed. 1/3 of each.

The boat seemed to let in a lot of water when you put it in. Does this water seepage reduce after the wood swells from being soaked in the water? Or do you just regularly remove the water and plan on having wet feet when you go out? 😁
@jordsmak2822 жыл бұрын
They always let in a lot of water when you put it in the water the first time in the spring, the wood swells after a while and reduce the seepage. There are always a little bit of water leaking in, but you can live with that.
@Luckingsworth2 жыл бұрын

Definitely going to give this a try. I like the store bought article for breakfast but pickling my own will bring a great deal of satisfaction I'm sure. I've just a quick question about the measurements. For the solution what am I quartering? A standard cup?

I really like where you live. Your house, too. And I look at your video with wonder. The different lights, and the snow, what a fairy tale. Geese seem to live a dream life. I almost thought I saw that geese bringing their children to school, a surreal but almost credible scene in that paradise you built. And, throughout the video, these wonderful bird songs. A treat. 🧡🧡🧡

It is a fairly ordinary small wooden boat that is traditionally used a lot here in Swedish lakes. Nowadays, people use more plastic boats, of course. They don´t see the beauty in wood and tar ..

Oh my gosh now you’ve done it! I’ve got a field that no one will hay because it’s just a little too small but I really want to copy you! I have a beautiful old wooden building that’s probably three-quarter the size of the one you’re putting your loose hay into… and I’m all for doing things for exercise and boy that would actually be enjoyable for me to just chip away at the field but I need that tool so I need to find where I can get one of those that’s amazing I love how you’re doing that and getting your own hay… those piglets are so cute how many are there exactly I couldn’t count them? The mama is so funny and good to see your dog! Cool video I really enjoyed it:)
