At 8 minutes and 30 seconds into the video you can see the northern lights!

Its a shame the camera only works in black and white mode at night.

Keep seeing these ghostly flashes - then realised they must be seagulls!

This was absolutely fascinating! I loved watching the daylight gradually lengthening & the wind direction changing from the usual westerly to southerly & occasionally northerly & back. What are the lights above Ballard Down at night, please? The seaward one doesn't seems to be in the wrong place for Bournemouth or Poole. And what is the bright light zigzagging from side to side at sea? Considerate of you to blank out those picture windows. Hope to see more of these, from different angles too. Many thanks! :)

The lights over ballard seem to be a issue with the night mode in the camera, i think its an internal reflection from the IR lights around the edge of the lens. The light in the sea was a big ship which was moored in the bay.

Yeah some storm lol. You should have seen some of the weather I did my paper round in, around 46 years ago. At school we did sports etc in inclement weather as bad if not worse than todays, we just very rarely called them storms. Don’t be fooled by the bull s-t reports of today.

Well that was absolutely savage, especially when night turned to day then back into night.

There seems to be a lot of issues with these TP link cameras, it lost a lot of frames again yesterday. A higher quality camera is over £500 and as we do not make enough income from the website at the moment to cover the hosting costs, it is difficult to justify the extra expense.

That's not much of a storm, I've seen the mersey estuary in Liverpool miles rougher than that, when I was there back in february 1990 there was about 20 foot waves on the river, and they still ran the ferry! And I went on it and it was brilliant! A great ride, although they had to stop running it for a while when the water rose up and flooded all the landings on both sides and it flooded all round the Liver building at the pier head right up to the dual carriageway behind it, and I got lifted right off my feet for a few seconds and carried through the air at breakneck speed as the wind was that strong.
