My father use to tell us our name got Americanized ( when family came to the united states most didn't know how to read or write so the in process spelled our name many ways) but our true spelling was Reifenburg. he had paperwork of the family history starting I believe mid 1700, but he's gone and who knows who or what happened to it. Hi! I bought a cluster for my 2003 e320 because my original had the central LCD display damaged and I can’t read nothing. But my car doesn’t recognize the odometer!! Will I have to disassemble both to change the LCD display?

Very interesting-these are beautiful instrument clusters on the W211, especially the circular LCD display and the speedo hand that doesn’t extend to the centre of the dial. I also like the LCD water temp and fuel indicators. An excellent design…that looks even better with the white dials.

great tutorial, thank you. I get no instrument panel lighting on w219 but lcd's and lights all work fine, except that the lcd sometimes misbehaves on tempomat. I was in charge of the maintenance of the streets and grounds at the Air Base, which was razed for completion of T3. I saw a tiny remnant of an old street but not sure where it is. It certainly is impressive what they have built there. So happy to see the Luftbrucke monument is still open. A couple of Germans from my department kept it absolutely immaculate. Nice video- thanks. I visited Adlerhorst many times, the first was in 1955. The round tower visible in your early footage was rather interesting- a "Medieval" structure from all appearances but just inside the entrance was a set of stairs that went down to a steel door that was welded shut. On the wall inside the doorway was an electrical switch. Hmmm.....

Exactly what I need for my 1991 Sovereign XJ6! I changed the wheel bearing on all 4 wheels and I was puzzled at how difficult it would be to remove the diff to rebuild it. Now I know and it will be relatively easy to do! Many thanks!
