Great trip Scot and Betsy. Thanks for the video. Hopefully we'll see you both next year. My knees haven't recovered from the 23 1/2 miles of portaging on the route I took yet.

Super awesome, thanks for sharing! And congrats on the result! I gotta admit, I would not have considered an Allwater board like the Atlantis for a river route but seems to work great for you guys!

Great comparison! How would you compare the RST now to the Atlantis?

I sold the shop 2 years ago and retired so I haven’t had a chance to paddle the new board yet so I can’t compare them.

Winn grips makes golf club grips that have caught on within the fishing community for use as rod handles. I ran a roll on my yak paddle. Excellent product. No gummy mess, soft almost paddedn and a hair "tacky" feeling. Not sticky but it wont allow slippage either

I'm coming to FL this weekend to buy a windrider that the current owner bought just for this race. He says that there was no wind, and the windrider is not practical to row... so they bailed on the race. I live in NY, but maybe I'll bring the boat back down to compete in a future race. Well done guys!

Enjoying seeing this route without a paddle in my hand or canoe on my back. Thanks for taking time to record the route. Not sure what was in the air that 4th morning, but that's also the day I managed to do a full body face plant in the water as well. Slipped looking for a portage in the predawn hours. Worst day for it.

Love the Suwannee…a sup thru paddle has been on my list for years since sup of the 300 mile st.johns back in 2012. I see the dates for this in May. Planning to sign up with a buddy who doing on OC1, Jaime Smyth. I believe he knows you from EC. I attempted EC two times on sup…..worst possible conditions both years!!!! I’d love to get some info from you on this trip. Though sure as hell don’t plan on gunning for a sub 60 hour time!😂

I currently ride a MORRELLI & MELVIN older 14' board. I am looking at an RS or Atlantis. I want to do MR340 and want to use for multi day SUP trips. I currently go on river trips with an inflabale because of rapids and rocks. I am 56 years old with good balance and fitnes (training for trail running race). I am about 154 lbs and 5'10". I saw you suggested the Atlantis becuase the deck stays dry. For doing the MR340 and other 30+ mile races would you suggest the Atlantis. And what witdth would you suggest. I live in St. Louis and don't have a SIC dealer to demo either board. Thanks for all your videos.

Thanks for the view of my past and future. I love that area.I cruise in a 22ft 4 inch draft sailboat with a kayak tender. Nature is better up close for sure. Paddling thru canals on Moonlite nights are very cool. Meet me out there in the future. You can stay overnight on the boat. Bring ice. Lol.

I have an opportunity to buy an Atlantis. I paddle flatwater a couple of times a week but love to be on the sea at least one good session a month. I also plan on some overnighter stuff so would like to carry gear. Though I do race a bit of flatwater I'm aware I'll not be winning, I do I tend to do the sea races too. So I guess my question is, how much does the Atlantis give up on the flat, to be fair, it is normally breezy and the surface is rippled at least. The other board I have in the frame is a One Ocean Sports Edge 3 which I feel is a bit more akin to the RS.
