I love the shape of the hill. Great job so far. Good idea, using dirt varieties to 'explain' why there is no grass at the top. Would you be open to the idea of adding in stone varients? Both to the side of the hill, but also a few custom rocks on top here and there. It might help with the effect you are trying to pull off.

I would really recommend that you add music to your videos, its not to much effort but it really makes a difference. And id also add alot more variation to the houses, I know there supposed to be in the same style, but you should use the exact same blocks for every house. But other than that, very good video, keep it up!

I love how big your project is and how far you have come omg! The amount of landscaping is just O.O Genuinely I think if you worked a bit on your block pallete then this could be the best lets play I have seen in a long time >.<
@springiuss9 ай бұрын
I really recommend that you use different blocks on the same build that have the same color. For example, don't use only stone bricks. Use tuff, cobblestone, deepslate together, and maybe some variations of them. Your buildings would not look so plain. With the roof, try adding some windows to it. Try making an outline out of different blocks. And never build all your buildings out of the same blocks, because now it looks like this village is a prison city. Your mountains look very nice, though.

Your buildings look really good, I am kind of curious about the wall around the village. Are you planning on detailing it more with a bit of wood or other blocks to make it stand out better? The bridge design is a pretty simplistic design but does go really well with the terrain. Have you ever played some of the older versions of the like Survival Test, Indev or Infdev survial? There is a lot of skills one can pick from those versions since your more limited to what blocks you have available. Infdev 20100327 is the very first playable survival level that you can save on, all the infdev survival levels you can't save in but the terrain is really amazing to look and is a bit more impressive the style of terrain we have in the more current versions.

Hey Emarond, nice video. You clearly put quite a bit of effort into it but as a small time youtuber a bit of advice I would give if you want to try improve quality is to try work on how your commentary blends into the final video, IK how hard it is to talk like a normal person after you hit record but try thinking before you speak and having in mind how it will fit into the video as viewers can get bored in the time between sentences like here it took up to the minute mark to say you were building a house, not that there is any problem with getting distracted as long as the viewers aren't confused. You want to have what I like to think of as a "narrative" like "I'm building a house" and try engage the viewers in that by explaining what you are doing matched with gameplay and how that fits in instead of just showing them. Overall you want it to sort of "flow" so you always have their attention, not saying its got to be extremally fast paced just what feels like has a definite direction. Also you probably know but your video isn't filling the whole screen, I had the same thing and I thought I couldn't fix it but if your issue is the same as mine what I did to get only my minecraft but not anything outside without messing with the scale on OBS is to tweak my base canvas resolution in settings>video until it perfectly matched my game. Sorry for the essay lol

Thanks for that, I will fix OBS now and see if while recording I can remember the first tip!

YOOOOO i think instead of just strip mining, you should build a micro wool farm (VERY CHEAP) that gives you stacks and stacks of wool per hour and use those wools to make ALOT of beds, better if you store them into a shulker box and take them with you, with the bed mining method (20+netherite ingots per hour) to get your netherite armor.

I generally play without a graphics card. My PC only has 4 gigs as well, so I have to play with Optifine, minimal graphics and render distance set to 6, and your fps in this video makes me envious. By the way this video here will show you how to get custom thumbnails as opposed to it just being a random frame: kzbin.info/www/bejne/moLaZapvjMyLmbM Okay fine. kzbin.info/www/bejne/j362qZKKqqiogc0
