I love those early Stratovarius albums.....the ones that came later too (of course). It would be a great pleasure if the members who recorded those two LPs met again and re-recorded again with a current sound (a 3.0 version).

Hace pocos días tuve el privilegio de ver al maestro Timo en un show acá en santiago de chile, canto solamente uno de estos clásicos, the hands of time, claramente ya no está para este nivel, pero fue muy nostálgico verlo interpretar una canción de esos años! Tremendo registro! Me hubiese encantado presenciar en vivo este show!

Hace dos días vi a Timo tolkki en vivo con banda de soporte aca en Chile y recordando temas y videos que uno queda pegado después de los show, llegue a esta joya. Ese día también canto en vivo y fue buaaaa, espectacular. Para mi , uno de los genios del power metal por siempre <3

Keikan alussa basso ja rummut jyräsi. Kitaraa ei juurikaan kuulunut. Myöhemmin kitara kuului, mutta synaa ei ollenkaan. Laulussa älytön delay. Olin VIP-alueella mikä oli rahastusta, paremmille paikoille olisi päässyt ihan normipuolella. Kävin myös katsomassa Ynkkää 1988 kun soitti tässä samassa (silloin tila toimi UKK-hallin nimellä) paikassa. Silloin bändissä oli Johanssonin veljekset, Joe Lynn Turner ja Barry Dunaway. Tämä 2024 keikka oli vain varjo tuosta musiikilliseltaan anniltaan. Nykyään Ynkän musiikissa ja soitossa pahinta on itse kontrollin puute. Pilaa myös omat vanhat biisinsä tekemällä niistä potpureita ja soittaa soolot vähän sinne päin.

@@JariBehm Kiitos kattavasta vastauksesta. Siihen nähden harmi Ynkän nykyinen touhu, että laadukkaan kokoonpanon lisäksi hänellä olisi tuotannossaan hyviä ellei jopa erinomaisia biisejä soitettavaksi yhden setillisen verran. Mutta ne vuodet ovat kaukana takanapäin. Ynkkä on Ynkkä.

All you can do is go to his gig be in the crowd like everyone else then believe just because you filmed him for your KZbin channel without his consent you can say blah blah Lack of control he is this he is that. @@Juhadiable ei ollu vokalistia. Kosketinsoittaja lauleskeli ja tietty Ynkka ite mylvi kuin sonni. Alennuksella myytiin lippuja tuskin oli loppuunmyyty.

I'm glad I didn't go for the price of the ticket. However the best show I've ever been was him in 1992 (Kulttuuritalo) during the Fire&Ice tour.
