How often do they run down to Holland. I've been in Grand Haven for around a week for vacation and never heard a train. Unless it came late at night.

I go to Grand Haven every year for vacation and have always wanted to document this railroad. How often do they run. I was there for a week last year and didn't hear or see any trains threw there.

As a matter fact I do. Michigan Shore Railroad, Inc. If you look up Michigan Shore Railroad online on the Genesee & Wyoming website they should have an email address or a phone number you could call.

I'm hearing that the chemical plant in Muskegon will be closing soon. I don't think there will be any tank cars any longer on this line.

Those were mostly all "suicide" wells, i dont ride those type of cars. Open autorack cars are a rare treat but i dont push my luck riding those, the bulls really get awnry when they find us in the autoracks lol
