Hi Morten! Can you please let me know which camera model are you using and/if any (IR) lights? I would like to make something simmilar next spring for birds nesting house and would like to have video like this without disturbing birds with any visible light.

Thanks Simon for this whole project.. It has been both educational and entertaining . I am so glad that you managed to recover the final footage from the camera. When the Stream stalled the other day I was so worried that we would miss the big exit . I look forward to seeing the next project . All the best from Australia mate , Cheers and thanks again 🙂🙂

As a human mom I always feel bad for the last bird that leaves the nest, the one that is there by themselves just trying to figure out life.

Thank you Simon! It's pretty chaotic! Timestamps: they leave at 7:25:52, 7:28:48, 7:29:14, 7:29:43, 7:33:58, 7:40:20. The last one stays a bit longer, gets fed, takes a nap, and at 8:13:40 it poops and immediately leaves 😅 One of the parents returns at 8:14:56, picks up the poop, flies out, then seems to realize the babies all left. At 8:18:45 there's another double check by a parent.

Unfortunately many chicks of different species didn't survive this spring because of the lack of enough food. That's a pity, but nature. The great Ts on my balcony started to breed, chicks obiviously hatched, parents started feeding but then a rival pair arrived and within the fight of the adults in the nestbox the chicks died. But now it is "raining" chicks of great and blue Ts from the neighbourhood, all coming to get some food. And this morning even a baby woodpecker was brought there joining his parents. I hope I'll get some pictures of the little red head.

Watching from Australia and just adore it. Often have it on at night before bed and see different creatures; the sound of the water is so very calming …. just love it. Thank you so much Morten xx

You really are to be envied! Everyone eats mice. The sparrowhawk, the buzzard, the hawk, the fox, the wild boar, all the owls, the stork, all the snakes, but the farmers have to poison mice. What's wrong with them?

I always watch great live performances on KZbin. I would like to create clip videos on KZbin that capture the greatness of the live performance and the momentary scenes, so that many people can experience them and spread respect for nature and love for animals.
