- i might be the only one who noticed this- but Uehara is emotionally damage in the Drama verison which explains his bad behavior towards Nao he has basically put up a wall and completely turned off his emotions which in my opinion is pretty clear that Nao is just the right kind of person to tear down the wall- He might be nicer in the anime verison fine but his Drama aka live aciton verison is much more complex And idk about any of you but i rather have a complex character the Drama verison focus alot on his personality traits and struggles and yeah he is mean and lack of sympathy but if you look beound the surface can you easily see how much his grown during each episodes he even becomes self aware and all the good changes in his life is thanks to Nao ❤❤❤ 😋

Tbh the drama is better and longer and actually brings out uehara it shows actual emotion hes cold to her but that's what makes the show progress and in the end its actually beautiful he shows his emotions and makes it much more joyful when he smiles or when hes nice to her in his own way it's there thing. And of course hes gonna be nicer in the anime because in animes they always exaggerate to catch the viewers attention I'm in no way hating on the anime but I don't think it shows the charecters to there full extent or they're growth especially since it was only 17 episodes and for you guys complaining that he was toxic in the real life version it's only because he wasn't fallinghesd over heels for her and showing his love 24/7 and in the end hes opened up alot more because he was showed love no matter what and never pushed away shes kept trying
