Hi there! I just received the 28lb washer - the skimpy manual says I should be cleaning a lint trap and an over flow filter. I can't find the overflow filter. The illustrations are confusing to say the least. What's your maintenance routine for the machine? It would help so much to know. ♥️

Would you say the PA is similar to the OA, for example if you are exemplary on the PA will you be fine on the OA?

I bought one of these (the 28 lb capacity one) about a month ago and so far everything is working well! I also bought a Panda spin dryer which is much larger and more powerful to do all the spin drying, but I still use the small spin dryer on my Auertech for the purpose of rinsing. I am one who actually has a house and a basement with hookups and floor drain. But the catch is I have foundation issues along my alley side wall where the stairs to the basement are, and the wall shifted in over time making it too narrow to get a normal washer and dryer through. I have braces on the wall now courtesy of foundation repair, but I needed a washing machine no more than 21" wide in at least one direction to get down there. This one attracted me due to load capacity, light weight and the ability to put it either in a bathtub or downstairs. I also like being able to control how much water goes in and out. Our kitchen sink has plumbing/drain issues and our bathroom is tiny, so I am thankful I can still get this down the stairs easily as it doesn't weigh much. I have regular laundry hose I hook up to our water hookups in the basement but I do not hook them to the Auertech. I simply hold the hose and fill the tub that way. It only takes a minute to fill it 2/3 way. I can drain directly to our floor drain or into a bucket and then tip that slowly down the drain if the drain is fussy and backs up (our house is very old and has plumbing issues at times). The washing machine has a powerful agitator and the spin dryer is surprisingly powerful too. My only complaint is the drain hose is a bit flimsy so it needs extra loving care. I had originally looked into an automatic portable washer as there are some that would fit in our basement too, but for the size of those that would fit the drum is very small and load capacity less than the twin tubs (at least this one), and the weight of those is much more making it hard to get down the stairs to our basement. I was also worried about water hookups to the sink or bathroom faucet and the drain problem with those. I like the twin tubs because you can manually fill them (you can not do this with the automatics) to desired amount and bypass the sink hookups altogether. And the bathtub is a backup plan for us with this machine if something goes wrong in the basement. It is a little more hands on work but it goes fast as it takes less time to wash/rinse/spin than the portable automatics that can take 45 to 60 minutes per load. I went to the laundromat for 20 years and I was sick of it! I don't mind hang drying clothes after spinning as I did this with many of my clothes from the laundromat anyway. I dislike the shrinking and color damage heat dryers cause. Finally, I can still manually wash a few clothing items or twin size comforters etc in a large laundry bucket with hot water and then use my large Panda spin dryer to spin dry them out and hang for those items I do not want to put in the Auertech. My Panda is essentially my backup plan if the Auertech stops working for any reason as I can hand wash clothes and use the panda to spin dry. If the Panda quits working I have the spin dryer on the Auertech.

I have a portable washer and dryer. Through covid-19 height, I wanted to stay away from public places, and it was great. I suggest you get a drying rack and an apartment size dryer

Just passed my exam. I was stuck on this class for weeks. Thanks for these videos. I attribute them to helping me pass since I'm auditory learning. Reading the material is harder for me and only about a fourth of the wgu videos help me (the ones by Daniel) ! Some of them are so monotone and reading from a script, that I got no help from them.

I just wanted to give a big thank you Auntie for showing us this because I forgot that these existed whenever I had a miniature one in college and I recently had to get one thanks to your video reminding me my washer broke down due to bad Plumbing Systems and I ended up getting the jumbo version of what you have and it's work seamlessly but may I just add this I went a step further I put mine on Wheels LOL I know that sounds silly but it just Maneuvers around so much easier I bought the wheels off of Sheehan and I screwed them in nicely so they wouldn't hit any wiring or cause damage to the structure itself and it has been just the greatest thing ever
