Solid work! Maybe add some magnets to the shell so you can have some other 3D printed statues sit on his back!

Here is an improvement tip first you can use a gear ratio higher to achieve the absoulte limit. And second, make the gear teeth diagonal like a arrow it will make it sound less

This was the first model kit I built by myself, some 45 years ago. I couldn't read at the time, but the instructions had pictures and I could figure out what to do from that. I built it during "nap time" one afternoon (the nap was for mom more than me - she didn't care if I slept as long as I stayed in my room and was quiet). Being 4 or 5 years old I didn't want to sleep, and since I was bored I decided not to wait until the weekend to build the kit with dad. I took it down off the dresser and had it together within the hour. Dad ended up painting it in the SEA camo scheme for me and applied the decals, and I've loved that model ever since. It was special enough to me even then that I was careful with it, and didn't play with (and accidentally destroy) it like I had the others. He passed away 10 years ago, but I still have that completed model sitting on a shelf in my 'project room'. Watching this get put together really brought back a lot of memories - though I will say the kit parts were in much better condition in the late 70s.

Why do you also print a color bar besides the Pokemon? Or is it needed when you do multicolor printing?

It’s required for multi-material printing to clean the nozzle

How long for this print ? And Average price to make it? I want to step into the 3d printing world, but searching for some answers first., awesome print en edit btw 💪🏽👌🏽

It took almost four days to print and 130€ to buy six different filament colors. However, only gray was used almost entirely-making 30€ in material costs for the model.

Ah, the ol Monogram Snap-Tite Phantom in … what, 1/72? 1/78? Who knows? I built half a dozen of these things between 1982 and 1987 and learned that “no glue required” actually meant “plenty of glue required.” They also had real (though bad) decal sheets. They were crap but they were fun to build once you got used to their idiosyncrasies … ok, I lied just then, they were never fun, I don’t know why I said that. But they were cheap and you could practice painting techniques on them. Except that I never did. Oh well. Thanks for the memories!

Stimmt, dass ist es. Aber sollte es nicht deswegen einfach zu bauen sein oder zumindest nicht wieder auseinandergehen?
