I admit my mom taught me that if any woman reminds me of her, is to run far and fast.

As one of your moms…one of the best episodes! And I had babysitter that taught me things I didn’t know about parenting. A win win.

I'm intrigued about the popcorn, dill seasoning, and ketchup 🤔 I'm gonna have to try that!

There's a video of this little girl telling her mom "someone said they saw me on Instagram. Are you posting me?" This is a stranger going up to a little girl saying she liked her video and this girl sounds so concerned asking her mom and her mom is just laughing and continuing to record her daughter and post it! That is soooo wrong and not funny. I'm glad there are ppl like yall who think about these things.

For both clothes and make up I try to talk to my girls about being classy and natural. The whole bikini thing I dodged for a while by saying it requires too much sunscreen 🤷♀️. But it is tough having girls with very different body types and the younger wants to pull off everything big sister does

I think it's a generational thing, cuz I had all of those "problems" and concern about my body but I try to be body positive now cuz of my daughter. She's only 4 but I think it's important cuz they observe us. We need to break that mindset we had back then for the new generations

What did you actually teach your kids about BLM? All they did was steal money and do nothing for the black communities.🙄

Best episode yet. You were real, admitted to not following what you/society/other moms deem acceptable. Honesty matters.

I already knew Kallie’s story bc I’ve been following along for years… I am still crying listening to her story about infertility. I was going through it simultaneously and I remember when I saw a later than you typically see baby announcement for Miles, I just knew. Because that was also me🥹 My kids are now 3.5 and 2. I would never change having done 2 under 2 even if I could. I LOVE it. It has its challenges, but I’d rather just add another one to the mix and watch them grow together sooner.

Y'all I stopped folding baby clothes with my first 😂 I discovered that for me a big part of learning to enjoy motherhood is learning to let go of so much - the laundry, the mess on the floor, when the baby sleeps, how much the toddler eats, etc. - and cultivating a mentality of consciously enjoying the time with our kids while they're little and all the stages as they grow ♥ We want the chaos, bring it on!!

Enjoyable podcast ladies. Keep them coming. Make sure to cross post to draw in more followers. I heard about this today from Kallie (who I adore) but couldn't find where she linked it so I just did a little search and found you. I've already listened to both podcasts. I can tell the Peaks and Pits will be a hit!

Great first episode :) A related topic I'd be interested in hearing your thoughts about is maintaining friendships when you're not in the same phase of life. After having some fertility issues, I was the first of my good friends to have a child. It has definitely been a struggle with them understanding not only the realities of parenthood, but how being a parent changes you.
