Great Info! Would this work in NYS? Any recommendations? Thank you!

Glad you found it valuable! Medicaid is different in every state so you'd want to check with NY directly.

Or listening to a podcast about a client 's issue then calling the client to talk to them about it, is that case management?
@croswaitecounselingpllc994421 күн бұрын
No. Case management is very specific in Colorado focused on access to services.

Can case management be billed for mandated reporting?

My wife went to a therapist in Colorado, she suffered from sever Depression, she was given ketamine during her sessions at this clinic. The therapist encouraged my wife to leave me. The therapist accepted gifts from my spouse went out with my wife and drove her back to her hotel after she sessions. My wife fell in love with her and this therapist continued this relationship for 4 months while my wife was in therapy. What can I do to stop this from happening to someone else.
@kharacroswaiteАй бұрын
I'm so sorry you experienced that. You can look up the therapist in the licensing board database and file a complaint. The licensing board will then investigate your claims. apps2.colorado.gov/DORA/licensing/Lookup/LicenseLookup.aspx

I love that I started with my name and created a new word later when I became a group practice and did a DBA so no need to get whole new insurance contracts, EIN or anything like that.

Any updates on if this has been a successful workaround for you? I mean of putting the Medicaid ID in the "name they go by" box?
@kharacroswaite4 ай бұрын
Yes it's solved the previous issues of putting a Medicaid ID after last name (in previous videos) Putting the Medicaid ID in name they go by, i.e. John Smith, name they go by box reads as John O12345 allows their Medicaid ID to populate on all notes without negatively impacting claims and billing.

Is it better financially to be a non-profit when switching to an employee model?
@kharacroswaite Жыл бұрын
Not necessarily! Nonprofits can raise funds to pay staff and sometimes be rewarded grants for funding which may or may not allow payment to staff. Employee models can be deployed in both for-profit and non-profit businesses
