Good try on the level 3 runs too- just try to hit more berries on level 1. I usually like going on the left side, as there are 4 berries (if you do the one in Dive) and access to the berry downstairs, then I go up to the crypt and get the 3 berries there. I never leave level 1 with less than 13 berries.
