Nutty crafter can you please explain what you mean by "tying off stitches" at 2:08 i know theres alot of comments so you might not get this thanks!
@NuttyCrafter8 күн бұрын
'Tying off' means securing the stitch, so that the thread stays in place after you cut off the excess. You can learn more about it here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/hpSclX-Pp8ZnadEsi=9cFZ3mv6T4DdjgXL

Am I always supposed to double my thread like that when sewing? 😂 Have I been doing it wrong my entire life??
@NuttyCrafter8 күн бұрын
It depends on how strong you want the stitch to be. A single thread is strong enough for most projects 😊

This helped so much! I washed my boyfriends new work tie since it had a grease stain and it loosened the stitching at the end and I felt so bad I needed to learn how to fix it

Came to learn a simple stitch for a continuous line look and realized I've done a back stitch before without realizing it.
Thank you for this tutorial! I went to work and had a hole in my pants and this helped me do an emergency stitch just to help me get through the day! It’s my first time sewing and it was super easy to understand.

Yes, but how do you determine how much thread is needed🤔
@NuttyCrafter2 ай бұрын
I usually start with around 30-60cm and then start a new piece when the thread runs out 😊 If you make the thread too long, it can get tangled and make it difficult to sew

Hi, would I be able to do this method to make a vest top fit under the armpits? I’m having to buy bigger clothes to fit my stomach. Unfortunately I look 11 months pregnant. I feel ashamed in how my clothes look on me.
