The way I interpret Amendment 1, is that now there is no requirement for the city to use eminent domain to take private property. Doesn't say that the city won't be able to take the land, just that it won't have to PAY the owner for the land. I hope I'm wrong!

It is so very beautiful!! I would love to be able to mosaic the stairs to my basement. Mosaic the part that you see as you go up the stairs. Any chance you can do a tutorial on how to go about doing it? I imagine that this technique you were teaching would be the same for the stairs?

quite different approach. I suggest attaching tiles to a mesh rather than tape, then starting at the bottom of the wall, attach thin set then tile. be patient, use "blue tape" to hold tiles in place, then build upwards. I like to create approximately 12 inch by 12 inch "puzzelpieces" of tiles, then add each "piece" forming it into the desired location. Think of it like making a bunch of 12 inch puzzles, then attaching them all together...
