So funny at the start of this doc, cause we’re all technically all immigrants in Canada and USA… majority are still first generation or second. AND everyone was discriminated against… poor me pour me another lmao

For all those Bible lovers, be respectful of other people's belief. I will remind you that men wrote the passages from stories retold thru generations. Countless atrocities were done in the past in the name of God. Even a large number of priests have abuse children and cloaked their actions blaming children as being affected by Satan. So stop your stupid comments on this documentary.

13 in 1973 I remember I got a hit of what they called purple microdot acid, idk if it was the same purple acid they talked about at Woodstock, but I was from Boston so it might've been, my first hit it coincided with my first listen to the new record darkside of the moon, I loved it, the next day I bought a 100 more hits and I was off and running, the next decade or so I did every type of acid I could find, orange sunshine, LSD 25, mescaline, blotter, it was my fav pastime.

The boomers phoocked up everything they touched. What an embarrassment to their parents who fought wars and suffered to give them a privileged life

An experiment gone awry. Peaceful, maybe but full of hedonism, and carnal lust; not love. And they totally trashed the place. Disgusting.

I knew a few book makers in Philly. Losing $1000 is nothing. They’re not going to hurt you for that amount. They just cut you off and work out a payment plan. And once you pay off your debt, you can bet again.

Never made it to Woodstock and did not want to. By then things were beginning to fall apart in the hippie movement. Cosmic Consciousness had been left by the wayside and it was becoming a culture of drugs and music period. The quest for knowledge about everything was ending. Personally I never let that bother me and have continued on the quest to know and understand and discover. :O)

I lived 10 miles from the site, was 3 years old at the time. I remember A&P shelves were empty and long hairs walking around town. 20 years later when I worked for the Sheriff's Patrol, 1/2 of the Dept had worked the festival, every one of them said the hours and the weather were lousy, the crowd was great.

I heard in another documentary that Santana was told they were going on later so they took the drugs. Then the plan changed and they had to perform right away. Even so, they were brilliant.

Unfortunately...look around 2024...Not one aspect of life has moved one inch. " We The People " , will never weld the real power. I was 10 in 1969, l've watched it not move for 64 years now. I was forced to tell my children, don't ever protest about anything. There is a risk of putting your one life in danger and...even if you think you've won, gotten your RIGHTFUL point heard, just wait alittle bit, everything will go back to the status quo sooner or later...pessimistic, l know, but l've had the time to watch NOTHING change fpr quite a few years now 😢

FYI Sha-na-na was at Woodstock...because Jimi Hendrix caught their act a few weeks before, and insisted that he would only be at Woodstock, if This retrro-Rock group could also perform!...Hendrix had a lot of pull, so they were added to the bill. BTW...the singer who did that hammy "Teen Angel" performance, went on to be a professor at a major university, a few years later!
