I find it funny how people complain about this fight. Yeah, Eiji may not be using an STL; but, that doesn't mean he can't use incarnation. We've seen incarnation used multiple times with both the NerveGear and the Atmosphmmmere. It shows how mentally strong Eiji has become. He may have lost the fight; but, his character development grew exponentially.

No, people using Amusphere to connect to Underworld cannot use incarnation, unlike STL. Your words is not true. Eiji incarnation is plot hole.

Eiji and Yuna are from SAO Ordinal Scale which is an anime only movie so yeah this scene with them doesn't take place in the LN as far as I'm aware
