The election results broken down into population groups immediately said to me that there was an undercount amongst the white population. They say there are ~ 4.5 million whites in the country. But 2.5 million whites voted! (granted overseas votes but it was miniscule - wouldn't have taken out many votes if they excluded them and not every expat is white contrary to many people's thoughts!!!!) Ok, it was the population group with the highest turnout and a more proportional age distribution especially against the black population. But are you saying that INCLUDING children - it was 55% ????? I'm obviously guessing but it makes more sense that there are probably ~ 5 - 5.5 million whites in the country. The same applies to a lesser degree the coloured and indian population. (and even statssa actually indicated this regarding many areas of Cape Town where I quote "There was likely an undercount amongst the white population demographic and the majority population in the province - the coloured population").
