Why didn’t you just pull the fill plug and make sure you have oil in there? It’s so simple. Also, the diff seal is an easy mistake by an inexperienced assembly operator. No, the diff cover is not put together by a robot. It’s not the cover that is causing the problem dude. It’s a faulty install. That’s it. $5 of rtv and $6 of oil. $11 isn’t worth complaining about and certainly isn’t worth taking to the dealer and wasting an entire day. You keep saying it’s fine to drive on because it’s not dripping, but you don’t know how long it’s been dripping. It’s also pretty easy to cause the cover to leak if you take it off road and it catches on a rut/log/rock…
@CanadianCruisin7 күн бұрын
@newfinishautospa clearly you've never purchased oil before lmao. What are you adding in for $6? Water lmao?

how are these frontiers with higher mileage? Got to be some out there. I'd like to hear from owners that are hitting 80K or up. The direct injection engines are known to have carbon build up on intake valves that lead to rough idle. Still, got to be better than the Turbo 4's in all the new midsize trucks.

Check your spray bottle for a small bubble of soap before you add distilled water to the bottle. If you do not see that bubble, do not proceed with the installation. Note that Screen Protech has a No Return No Refund policy. They also do not have a contact phone number, so you have to rely on email if you have any questions problems. Great video and easy to follow instructions.

Does this void warranty?
@CanadianCruisin8 күн бұрын
@rayangus4057 warranty is all under the dealership and nissans discretion. If they can deem that the specific part swapped out caused a issue they can void warranty. But they have to be able to prove it. Unless your dealership is really bad I'd say it wouldn't void anything
