Geezzzz looks horrible...but looks decent after would have left the v brakes on it tho. Didn't need to smooth it out..just rough it up so paint will stick. Shouldn't have greased the seat post. Oh well, ull learn

The ATF-Acetone mix was a "home brew" mix of 50 - 50 automatic transmission fluid and acetone. Note the "home brew" was better than any commercial product in this one particular test. Are you sure it's not a 5mm? 6mm on my Mongoose seems doesn't seem the be a 6mm. Plus it's got rust in there and I'm currently soaking it with transmission fluid

Tip 1: Once you strip the old paint, sanded the surface, and wiped down the raw frame with rubbing alcohol. Never touch the frame with your bare hands. Always have latex gloves on. The oil from you bare hands will ruin the paint job. Tip 2: Always use 2k primer/clear/matt coat. It's the best for frame protection and the best for base or sealing the paint job. Tip 3: Sand with 800 grit wet sandpaper after switching paint colors.
