Ive got this issue with a 3008 tdi 2012, customer came in with a bad battery, replaced and worked fine for 1 day, came back on a rac van, we replaced the alternator and the car still wont crank, starter solenoid made noise, now it doesnt. We have power to everything though so the big white fuse is fine, it just wont crank!! We keep getting "absence of command of the starter"

En mi C Max del 2005 lo hice de otra manera. Metí un destornillador largo a través de la rejilla y a martillazos rompí la pieza de nylon blanca hasta que liberé el cable Bowden y dejé al descubierto la cruceta de plástico que se acciona muy bien con un destornillador largo. No reemplacé el mecanismo porque me parece nefasto y desde entoces abro el capó sólo con ese destornillador. Fijé un tubo de plástico para hacer de guía y no tener que apuntar, desde cierto orificio de la rejilla hasta la cruceta, dejando el emblema Ford fijo, pegado a la parrilla.

Yes you are right, my horn stays on and I went to electrician he charged me £40 and diagnosed and said it is relay I went scrapyards and find one cost me £30 so It cost me £70 to solve my horn problem.

You need to connect both clamps to the battery terminal and auto boost mode turns on. You are bypassing all safety features by putting it into manual mode. Automatic Boost Mode only kicks in when a battery connection is detected, its not detecting anything because you are connecting it to the chassis.

For those who want to know.. Some alternators you cannot pull out this way. You have to remove the plastic pipe too. Its held together on 3 bolts, 2 torx and 1 17mm om the lower engine, easiest way is to remove the floor cover. Disconnect the pipe and move it a bit away from the alternator. You do not have to remove it entirely.. just to make some space. Than you can replace the alternator.

So what do I have to change? A sensor or the blower motor itself or what? I find it difficult to fully understand what you’re saying so please reply

Check oil filter. Then check compression on cylinder 3. Otherwise your field test looks fine, pressure with them though is mildly concerning.

Id replaced the fuel pump if my injectors sprayed that weakly, there no pressure whatsoever 😅 in this scenario

Yea didn’t look like enough pressure, should’ve misted not sprayed

It's certainly a fair, if slightly dangerous test. Hard to say watching on a phone, but it didnt look like there was much pressure present.

love the TDI. Always a simple problem. Could have been doing that for 1000 miles if you keep filling the tank too. my transmission was 9l low for almost 100k miles. shifted poorly and would not stay in gear at the light there at the end. filled the transmission up with a $60 amazon pump after no one wanted to work on it and it was good as new. The things now got 250k, these are strong cars.
