Metformin does not change or lower the insulin level, it lowers blood sugar by decreasing the absorption of sugar from the gut, and inhibiting gluconeogenesis from the liver. So the anticancer effect of metformin is through other mechanisms.

So I will have to wait six months? I'm so sad about losing my upper register. I'm not a professional singer but sing in church and everyone around me can verify that I'm humming or singing all the time. I'm so brokenhearted, but it's only been a month. I'm wondering when I should ask for voice therapy. Do I wait longer?

@@adidasxavier1796 hey :) no, I never had any voice problems before surgery. I did my surgery on May 29, today July 9th, I still don’t have my voice fully back, but it’s gettin much much better! I have hope it will recover fully. Two weeks ago I thought it won’t change because my right vocal side was still paralyzed of injured nerves, but I am starting to feel that side vibrating again when I make noice, like prolonged iiiii. So, give it time.

@@adidasxavier1796 I didn't have problems before surgery. It took three months before I had most of my upper singing register back. I've never recovered all of it and my insurance wouldn't cover voice therapy. I hope your mom can speak properly after her surgery.

@@TheresaGraf so, what happens if you have thyroid cancer and you can't properly speak does it mean the cancer spreaded to the vocal cords? Im worried about my mom and knowing that something like that can make her lose her voice scares me to death

BULL FECES!....This chic appears to be so happy to believe that basically Afro people can get melanoma!...they simply know the Caucasoid is the pink elephant in the room...this video is VERY misleading... the type of melanoma people of color get (specifically Africans) is called "ACRAL LENTIGINOUS MELANOMA"...Acral defines as... extremities or peripheral parts of the body, such as fingers, toes, ears, and nose... Afro people will get this type of melanoma underneath the sole of their feet, palms of their hands, underneath their toe and fingernail bed mostly...BUT NOT ON THEIR SKIN unless they are very light skinned. Google ACRAL LENTINGINOUS MELANOMA and look at the pics Remember he said palms, sole of feet and nail beds...our Caucasian brothers are trying to align us with them so they aren't on that island of oddity by themselves! 400 yrs enslaved working in the sun and NOT ONE enslaver noted MELANOMA...look up illnesses of slaves in America...Melanoma DAMN SHO wasn't one!

Why are the people taking this medication for diabetes still dying from breast cancer?
@pastryshack551
@pastryshack551 Жыл бұрын
They want the price to go up for this drug because it is cheap for diabetics. Yesterday it was a dog's medicine now its diabetes drug. The drug companies knows how to use these so-called Dr's. Why Don't these people talk about the vaccine, which is suppose to cause cancer. Covid vaccine is not even mention, and we cannot even know what's in the vaccine for 75 years. We will be all dead.

The latest research proves that all types of cancer, including this one, are actually a metabolic disease, not a genetic disease. Dr. Seyfried is the leader in this new understanding, which the mainstream does not even know about, much less implement. The clinicians don't make time to read the latest research and thus keep on with the "standard of care" which ends up killing most patients. The effective treatment, luckily, does no harm to the patient. His recommendation is a ketogenic diet, along with antianthelmints and glutamine repressors. Joe Tippens is the poster boy for the antianthelmints, which seem to work even without using a keto diet. This gives true hope.

Our oldest son was 55 yrs. old when he was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer. The doctors said he may have only 6 months to live. A decision was made to have what's called Whipple surgery at the Cleveland Clinic in Ohio. The operation took 11 to 11.5 hrs.and six weeks of Chemo treatment afterwords. For a short period he appeared to be slightly better but things went downhill and many symptoms of various stages progressed with much pain and agony, but he fought to keep going and kept hoping for some sort of a clinical trial or treatment although a blockage or something developed as he struggled with this for 15 months with much various pain medicines administered and then a tube placed was placed in his stomach for liquid nutrient as could no longer eat solid food and another tube for the bile. He has passed on after 15 months of the Whipple surgery at the age of 56 years old August 21st 2022. We should all encourage and pray that more development and research be done into this dreaded cancer and others.

I have a question since my dad, and oldest brother both died from thyroid cancer both were 64 years of age. I'll be 61 in mid December 2022, I had the left side of my thyroid removed, and half of my ithumis. I now have a new solid nodule on my right thyroid, a new left lung mass, my calcium was high in my blood, I have excruciating deep bone pain, urinating much more frequently, my bladder on ultrasound show lots or moderate amounts of fluid. My question is this: Will I lose my right thyroid too? My FNA Biopsy came back for an unusual follicular carcinoma from the Bethseda- ranging in the 60% for a carcinoma? I am on Synthroid (Levothyroxine) 75 mcg, prescription form of Magnesium 400mg twice a day, (ergocalcif) D-2-50,000 unit/ 2 capsules once a week. I also had to increase my testosterone treatment Androgel 81mg daily as 4 pumps to the shoulders. My endocrinologist says: no Cancer, don't worry? However, I think he is not telling me the truth? So, my 2 questions: Will I have to have my right thyroid removed, and is there some kind of test that they can do to get a definitive diagnosis? I want my health back, and I want doctors to be more straight forward with me, I can handle it, I'm a big boy that wants direct answers? Thank You! Arthur Mabee Jr., P.S. I will always pray for thyroid cancer patients because I know how it feels: just wish I could get rid of this excruciating bone pain? 🙏❤🙏❤🙏❤

3 years after double mastectomies and 19 bad lymph nodes, the fatigue has not left. I am an RN and have tried to stay active. Gardening has saved me but I have to place chairs all through my yard so I can sit quickly! I think radiation burns damaged my lungs and heart. My oncologist has never helped me in three years. Just nods his head. So I kept up my plan of care. My blood levels are excellent.
