Not at this time; there is no reason to worry. Will it go away at some point? Sure, it will, but I personally don't think so for a while.

I am not surprised, as that is very common. Diabetes causes damage to the smallest blood vessels, and diabetics are an important group of people who need to ensure their nitric oxide levels are optimized. You will find a big difference once you get your nitric oxide levels normal.

If your doctor is a traditional doctor they probably won’t have a clue on how to do that but you can try. I would recommend looking for an independent pharmacy and speaking with the pharmacist. Many do carry the tests in the pharmacy and if they don’t they can order them.

Actually it is NOT a nitric oxide test per se. Rather it is a nitrite (NO2) test. Dietary nitrates (NO3) are carried from the stomach by the blood to the salivary glands and enter the mouth in the saliva. In the mouth bacteria on the tongue reduce the nitrate to nitrite (that is what the strip measures nitrite). When you swallow the saliva the nitrite is converted to nitric oxide (NO) in the acidic stomach. Now I have a question for you. Most of the nitric oxide that regulates vascular dilation is produce by the endothelial lining of the large blood vessels. Do you know of any studies showing that NO produced in the stomach has any role in blood flow? I don't think it does -- but I would like to see the research. Also you might mention that people who use mouthwash with alcohol and toothpaste with fluoride in it are killing off all the "good bacteria" in the mouth. Thanks.

if you actually watched the video you will see that it is about a product that is available for pharmacy owners. I actually prefer a different product these days. it is not meant as a consumer recommendation. Pharmacy owners are interested in knowing which products they can carry. You can go call someone else a rat, thank you.
