I've already got the Polar Lights issue of The Witch, (with the optional "Glow-in-the-Dark" parts including TWO Witches,) but I'm looking forward to the Sealab III reissue. My allowance wouldn't support the Aurora Sealab III when it first came out in 1970 when I was 10. Now that I'm 65, I wonder if my Social Security and Pension will cover one, now . . . ? 43rd Like.

Great video. The Cygnus was the best one I have ever seen and the Back 40 of Wayne Manor was truly original thinking.

Good stuff. Literally bought the Galileo with the interior and photoetch kit from you today at the show due to how great the built upped kit in your video looked

It's a well-engineered kit, I had a blast making it. Was lucky enough to get a Bronze at Modelpalooza. Figures are NOT my strength, so I just did the best I could with their appearance. It's not "canon" with all the lights, but I loved how it came out. Good luck building yours! Live Long and Prosper.

If money were no object, and all the very best technology from each country, I mean classified and unclassified, were used, and the cream of the crop of engineers from each country worked together in one joint lab; we could go to the stars in 90% of what star trek has.

In 1985 I saw the Enterprise at the ASM, hanging from the roof near the gift shop. It looked so shabby, and seemed so small, compared to what I had seen in 'Best Of Trek' and 'The Making Of Star Trek'. I'm glad it finally has a place of honour at the Smithsonian, like Howdy Doody, and Dorothy's Ruby Slippers. Thanks for posting.

People are barely paying attention to it. I could spend at least an hour looking over every detail of it. and if they let me close to it I would examine it for hours. I guess I'm just a huge Star Trek nerd.

I missed this kit the first time around - it was too much for my allowance and returnable bottle hunting. Hopefully, my pension will be up to the task . . . . If memory serves, Aurora planned to issue a model of the Aluminaut Submarine as a companion kit for their Sealab III. I vaguely remember seeing a photo of the painted, acetate pattern that included a sunken F-111 escape module on the base being examined by divers. Does anyone know anything about this? Thanks for sharing! 63rd Like.

When I was a small girl, I put EVERY spaceship model together I could find. When I ran out - I just started 'kit-bashing' before it had a term. I even built spaceships out of cardboard, jars, plastic jugs, etc. Three thumbs up!! (I know I had an extra thumb here somewhere...) Hats off to you and your efforts!!

I'm wright there with you. I finished my Dragon kit in January, just in time to take it to the Chattanooga model show. I picked up Cult TV Man's decals, but it was a real challenge looking for good references. I was trying to build it as Apollo 11 adding missing detail to the inside of the stages, sanding of the ribs on the instrument ring, building the computer for the instrument ring, I really had to be careful because one image was of Apollo 11 then the nest was 10, then 13. And good luck finding good color photos of the interior of the stages. The two Saturn V's that are in display are both different 😢

I bought an original 1990’s version of this kit from eBay, shrink-wrapped, for £40/$50! Even the open-box models go for £100/$130 so I think I got a bargain! One half of me wants to keep this as an investment, they other half says ‘what the hell, build it up!’ It’s gonna be hard to light as obviously not the clear version and molded in duck-egg Blue, but if I do build and light it, it’s gonna be a long term project! I guess after all the years the decals will be unusable? Great video mate
