I love how many of the original lines of dialogue are in tact, as someone who has this scene basically memorized, it’s greatly appreciated, since it helps capture the tone and characters the same as the game does. First of all, I. LOVE. THIS. I didn’t have time during these days -I still don’t- but I wanted to express my admiration and love for this project and this game by writing an analytical-esque type of comment. Initially I planned to do this for every video, but life’s busy haha (though eventually, I think I’ll get to do this also on “Lineland Road” and “Today’s Story”, probably, don't take entirely my word) Alright, so highlights! 0:06 Bowser’s debut!! The Koopa King sounds amazing here! It seems to me that someone really enjoys voicing Bowser by the looks of their username… (And we love to hear it too!) 0:23 “(It was pretty hard to think up)” Love how Bowser’s goofiness is mixed into the song 🤣 0:52 Mario being supportive of everything his brother says is so silly/cute! I can't help but giggle each time he opens his mouth! 😂In general, Mario’s little italian-plumber-joyful-sounds have been so entertaining in all his appearances ^^ -The powers that be fear letting him speak, for he would be far too powerful for the human mind if he were to utter a coherent phrase- 0:55 Luigi’s comment about Bowser’s castle is great, considering that it’s located around a lava pool haha. I imagine that between the heat and the fact that the castle is always full of people, it wouldn’t be the most ventilated - a great worldbuilding little snippet! Also, it establishes Luigi as being braver than he looks, considering not everyone would criticize Bowser’s Castle in front of the man (koopa?) himself! 1:09 “The gate was left open/Just wide open” I love how this whole segment sounds (Mario’s hum included)! It sounds so organic, in the sense that this is how a normal conversation would go: with Luigi repeating his statement in order to give it emphasis. I can totally imagine the bros. giving Bowser the most deadpanned expression while saying this, as if they couldn’t believe that Bowser, of all people, would leave his door completely open haha 1:15 Man, Bowser’s so funny in this song hahaha 1:29 I know that it’s such a small moment, but I wanted to give attention to the fact that right in this moment Meowy sounds so, so much like Samantha Kelly; it’s amazing!! -Ironically it wasn’t Sam Kelly who voiced Peach in this game, but you get my point- 1:32 BLECK!! I’m so happy to see that this is also Bleck’s debut (as I had already predicted haha)!! And Citrinne has done a marvelous job in this animation for his introduction!! Bleck’s my favorite character not only in this game, but in the whole Mario franchise, so I was really looking forward to seeing your approach to the character. I feel like many people rely excessively on the whole “refers-to-himself-in-the-third-person” schtick, specially since in-game he actually speaks a lot in the first person -trust me, I know what I’m talking about, I spent all summer transcribing his and the other main character’s sentences into Word documents in both English and Spanish- but here it wasn’t overdone! So far, I’m really liking his portrayal here. Now I cannot wait to see how the rest of the Bleck gang will be like! 1:37 “Welcoming all in his dark attire” Pretty funny considering he’s dressed completely in white 1:47 “You or I had something to fall for” Oooh, I get that this is foreshadowing to the fact that Bleck was also in love with a human, just like how Bowser is in love with Peach… I wanted to say that it is truly fitting to give Bleck and Bowser some sort of “duet”, just like how Peach and Tippi sang together in “Gloam Valley”: there are two very important weddings in this game, one begins the destruction of everything, while the other saves the day; Peach and Tippi are the respective brides of these, and they share lines due to the fact that they’re on the same side; meanwhile, Bowser and Bleck are the grooms, and while they sing at the same time here, they’re singing different words/tunes because their beliefs don’t truly align, showing that they’re going to be enemies. I absolutely love highlighting the character foils in this game! Now, I can only hope that eventually all the heroes & villains parallels will get to have some sort of duet together, just like how they have confrontations throughout Chapter 8 (although it seems that, sadly, Mario & Bleck won’t get to sing together, due to Mario being mute…) 1:52 “Hold on, what the heck?!” I find it so funny how Bowser is completely shocked by how easily Bleck has defeated Mario lol 2:06 “Or maybe lock the door next time!” Love how Bowser’s still so pissed about the door, hahaha. He totally doesn’t know how to let go of grudges; very in-character 2:13 “I write the script, no more options left for choosing” This is such a cool sentence, kudos to the writers!! 2:15 “Only the vows can set us free” Again, foreshadowing. I feel like this is referring to the fact that Bleck is so consumed by his grief that he wants to make all worlds disappear and let them remain like that. Because the wedding (vows) is what causes the Chaos Heart and, subsequently, The Void to appear and this all leads to destruction (freedom from his pain, according to him). So the connection is: wedding (vows) → Chaos Heart → The Void → End of everything (freedom) 2:16 “Hey that’s low, you know that I’ve tried” He’s so mad that Bleck was the one to defeat his enemy 😂 2:23 I think it’s so funny how Bowser suddenly realizes that Bleck is planning to marry him to Peach and then, instantly, forgets it all about how Bleck has just entered his castle with the captured princess Peach while defeating his long-time nemesis, and starts acting like they’re the bestest of friends, even though he was just threatening to burn him with his fire lmao 2:39 This whole final speech is, alongside some other lyrics that I haven’t pointed out, straight out of the game, and I’m so glad to see these! I think that it’s truly fantastic knowing that the team has done their research for this project! Your love for this game really shines through with details such as these!! Now, my current prediction (because I’m so happy that my last prediction was right) is that song number 3 will be a mix of “The Wedding Begins”, “Wedding Waltz” and “Birth of the Chaos Heart”. I’m also willing to bet that at least Nastasia makes her debut in the musical in song 3, and that song number 4 is going to be “Flipside”, marking Merlon’s first appearance Another great song!! ❤ ❤ And this time with a great teaching: in the words of our beloved Koopa King, “LOCK. THE. GATE. IF… YOU’RE THE LAST ONE IN ”

I feel like I'm just going to start every comment now with the sentiment of "where do I even begin", because ON GOD WHERE DO I EVEN BEGIN.... The myth, the legend, the man of the hour is finally HERE and I have been fangirling ever since yesterday because just fkdslKASDFKD *screams* But let me start with other things before I get ahead of myself ahaha. Bowser is GREAT, sooo funny, and I just love the running theme of him being overly pissed about the gate left unlocked, as if it's the only reason all of this happened lmao (sorry man, that wouldn't have done anything; Bleck teleported into Peach's castle and he did the same here lol). Also BLECK INSULTING ALL OF BOWSER'S FAILURES IN KIDNAPPING PEACH??? DAMN 🤣😭 and Bowser spends the whole second half annoyed by him and that, before immediately forgetting all of it as soon as he hears that he's going to be taken to marry Peach, which is.... very in character for him LMAO. I'm seriously impressed by how closely the lyrics match to the dialogue in this scene; as the other comment said, some of the lines are nearly word for word...! One of my favorite parts/the funniest part is without a doubt "The gate was left open" "mmhmm!" "just wide open!"; Mario's comedic timing is _impeccable_ 😭 along with the mention of the castle being smelly and Luigi needing fresh air, like damn Bowser be getting roasted on all sides in this one 😭😭😭 and I absolutely love it lool. The animation for Bleck's entrance is absolutely INCREDIBLE as well!! I hope we continue to get more little animations like that sometimes, as the other comment said, but I love all the art in general; it's always so well done. 💖 And finally, Bleck. Oh my god Bleck. I already said it but literally that is THE Bleck voice, you could not have CHOSEN anyone more perfect to voice him, I'm actually gonna cry. I was into it but not 100% sure how I felt from just the trailer alone, but now any doubts I may have had are gone; he is literally perfection. He has that beautiful, smooth velvety elegance to him, but also that deep, guttural, menacing _grit_ that just HITS so satisfyingly on certain words, oh my god, like "Bleck" at 1:58 and 2:40 and "now" at 2:34. He sounds so charismatic and sing songy (not just in the singing lol, but in the regular dialogue reading too) and it's just so, _so_ good, it's so HIM I can't 😭💙 It's hard to tell, but I love how he sounds vaguely softer at "Only the vows can set us free" and "now my bridegroom come with me", cause, yeah. :' ) And I adore how the "Bleck" at the end of some of the evil laughs sound, like someone would say "blech" at something disgusting/repulsive; it's.... very telling and very fitting for him, i'm not okay :' ) 💔 I need to listen to 384293 more hours of this man sing and talk. He is perfect. Thankfully I'm gonna be hearing a lot more of him I know, and I am over the MOON thinking about it hhhhHHHHHHHH- We're just so blessed to have this musical... Each and every one one of the team is absolutely killing it, and if this is how emotional I am _now_ , I just know I'm in for something truly special and magical when we get to the parts I'm most anticipating 🥹🥹🥹 and I WILL cry, mark my words 😭💖 now BRING ON THE WEDDING (which one? both. one next week and one in two years :' )

Like I said earlier, this might be my new favorite SPMtM song! The new VAs were great in their roles of Bowser and Bleck respectively, and the artwork for this one is great as always! BLECK'S ANIMATED INTRO THOUGH - It's so short, yet so effective. I would love to see more animations like that, even if they're also just short ones for character intros and such. Now time for my comments throughout the video: 0:02 - Bowser laughs on beat, which somehow I didn't expect 0:18 - I feel like I don't talk enough about the artwork in these videos, so to whoever is/are doing the artwork: keep up the great work! 0:30 - The lyrics in these next two speech bubbles are pretty much word-for-word dialogue from the game! Props to the lyricist(s) who made that work. 0:42 - It makes sense that Bowser doesn't really know who Luigi is: Luigi's only been the protagonist of spinoff games like Luigi's Mansion and New Super Luigi U. Bowser recognizes him because he's _seen_ him before, but not as much as Mario. 0:57 - Ok Luigi, that was a bit harsh lol 1:11 - I love how he's just so nonchalant about it. "...Just wide open." 1:33 - I would just like to reiterate, I WANT MORE CHARACTER INTROS LIKE THIS 1:43 - "I'll tell you who doesn't make a bit of sense-Count Bleck!!" (Another near-direct quote) 2:05 - Bleck can teleport, so I doubt locking the door would help... 2:32 - That's such a good line: "All is as fortold / Now, the wedding shall unfold!" 2:54 - The way he pronounces it makes me feel like even Bleck is disgusted by what he's become... (foreshadowing)

THE ANIMATION OMG everything is so good! The layering of bowsers and blocks voice makes the scene feel menacing but also a little silly because of the way bowser talks. I think you portray this scene super well!
