After some lengthy research, I have come to the conclusion that this is the only song ever performed about constipation.

One of my favorite scenes in all of film. Tarkovsky can convey so much just by slowly panning over the detritus of the past floating serenely in water. I mean, this really proved a lot to me as a filmgoer. In a lot of ways, I was like "I get it", when it comes to how people talk about the "purity" of cinema. Anyway, the scene speaks for itself. I'm just prattling on and doing it no justice all the while.

This scene actually seems reminiscent of Jesus finding Himself deep in meditative prayer as He contemplates enduring hardship and the fate of humanity in the Garden of Gethsemane.

The water, all the things known to man buried underneath it like a memory with mould on everything to riches to religion. The music is something that draws you in no words just sound and instrument playing just like our hearts beating whilst watching this because the only thing making a sound besides the film was my heart and feeling alive again. The heart knows, dont follow it it doesnt want that, walk beside it forever and see one another in each of the two eyes your given. Went on my little poetic flows, amazing film more than amazing! 🙏🏻 🤲

I'd say that it suceeds in settling a dreamlike atmosphere. It blends many different elements (coins of money, weapon, religious icon, technological items...) while keeping quite a drowsy pace. Though apocalyptic, the scene remains deeply peaceful, and I believe that it gives room for the viewer to mull over what they are seeing, and consequently, to meditate on their own existence. Aside from that, I think that it is simply beautiful from an pure aesthetic point of view. I hope that my interpretation helped you to appreciate some elements of the scene; so long!

It shows humanities lack of faith. How materialistic things of the world will be meaningless and gone when we face our creator. Which is Christ

I think it shows different ages of humanity. As you can see the last what we see is a weapon. After that nothing. Which means the humanity eventually will destroy each other.
