There are approx 12 steps to get from the lobby area exits (a set of staircases on each side) up to the Sun deck (plus there are also steps at the aft of the ship too) so you can access from either set of staircases. Just another thought, if you look at the Danube itineraries for the AmaMagna (it can't do the Rhine because of its width) that might work better for your Mom as their elevator goes all the way up to the Sun Deck so no need for stairs!

Thank you teauraki, I think it depends what kind of device you listen to it on. With most computers it seems fine but the tablets and phones, not so good. KZbin used to let us edit existing videos but now we are not able to do that anymore so I either leave it up as is or remove so have chosen to leave up for now as still a good visual even without the sound.

I just came back from doing the Star Pride alone. It was fine as so many couples and groups invited me to join them - plus the staff was endlessly chattering to me. I'd gone for a rest and found myself craving time to myself! Their website says they're waiving single supplement for rest of 2017 - short notice but just a thought for you.

So true ! We were travelling with British Airways and they allow your carry on bag to be up to 50 lbs (23kg) so we were fine.

Hi yekdeli, sorry for the delay - just had to get the specifications for you. It was a Heys hard sided carryon with a 2 inch expansion. The measurements are 21" x 14" x 10.5" (so expandable to 12.5") Thanks, Linda
