That is exactly why I got the bike. It was driving me crazy that she was looking back so much. I couldn't train it out of her. Then I realised, it was ME! She wasn't going any further without me and if I was ahead of her then it was a matter of keeping up. She has taken to it very well. She is faster than me at top speed. You should start seeing some epic scenic adventures soon. I'm already planning to visit the snow with her. Say hello to Pete from all of us!

Highly recommend the e bike. I currently can not feel my legs.

Pepper isn't a fan, as you can tell. But she is warming to the idea. Hooch doesn't look like much would scare him. Beautiful creature!

Aw Pepper Hooch is also currently scared of bouncing basketballs 😂 So we are working on that

Meanwhile Pepper will get herself tangled into a mess, break half the house, knock me over and jump over the moon for her balls. And don't worry Hooch, I'm petrified of roller blades. They just look like ankle snapping machines to me!

@@Wheels_Paws 🤣Most dogs love them! My neighbor who is using crutches saw me on my skates with my dogs and said "That's what happened to me" and I go "What do you mean, you skated with your dogs and hurt yourself?" And he goes "No I was trying to do tricks in skates." I considered it a warning but I think I'll be ok. Probably should stop going backwards though.😆

If you watch my driving videos you will know I am not the person to discourage dangerous fun, so long as it's safe as possible. I think 3 dogs at a time without a partner riding with you might be as far as I'd go to suggesting any improvements. Just like my driving, I never ride with a passenger or cargo. It's between me and the trees. You have three cords, 2 dogs, and a Hooch. So long as you have a plan B, you should be fine. If something goes wrong with Pepper, she has been trained to stay by my side until given instructions. We have to be weary of snakes and believe it or not, kangaroos. They can lure a dog into a fight and literally open its stomach up. When you stand next to a grey kangaroo, I don't care if you're Dwayne the Rock Johnson, you're small and easily moveable.

It took a few hours, but she eventually opened up to it. I can see the four wheels of a skateboard scaring Duke; they hear different frequencies, so it makes sense. I'd give a bike a go with Theo since he is big enough to run into. Pepper thankfully stays fully clear of the wheels. I've already done 60kms on the bike and I've only had 24hrs. Made a trip down to Melbourne to grab it yesterday morning. I got it for fitness but mostly so Pepper can start running like a cattle dog should. I used to take my other 2 cattle dogs for very long adventurous bush walks but my fitness is nowhere near that level yet.

My neighbours know me for my loud and fast cars, I think they appreciate a change of pace. I can't feel my legs, boss.

It's an ebike that I bought yesterday. Haven't gotten off it since. Getting Pepper comfortable and ready to go on big adventures...coming soon!

But, she is too young for a beer. Seriously though, there is a river bed nearby. I just have to say "where's the water?" And she runs to it.

It is an absolutely lovely landscape. Whenever you see Australian sports teams wearing green and gold/yellow, thats what they're reflecting; our bright summers landscape. As for Pep looking back, it is sweet but I'm trying to train her out of it because it disrupts her enjoyment. She is still a pup and unsure how far she can go, so I understand. She is also learning about wildlife and not to chase anything that isn't a ball. Say hello to Pete for us!

@Cars_Dogs_Cats I absolutely adore animals as well, which is why I’ve started creating animated stories about them. A dog is definitely in the top 3 for my next video-Pepper might just be the perfect inspiration! 🥰

This is our 3rd cattle dog. If you look at some of our older videos you'll find a dog named Auto, who recently passed away (thankfully captured our last walk together). Patch came before him but we had to give him up to another family. You're in a saturated market, friend. Your production skills, narration and scripting is very good so I hope you can make a dent. I'd suggest a video on "working" cattle dogs. Pepper is unemployed. When they're put to work, they're an amazing creature. Either way, good luck and all the animals thank you for stopping by. Dot is a 1 in a million, when it comes to dogs. So long as they're friendly, he's down to chill. The other two cats, not so much. Like, not at all.

It's a hard place to love, but its also a hard place not to love. The weather extremes can be worrying but when its peaceful, its perfect. She is very lucky that I have found 100s of safe spaces for her with the 2 previous cattle dogs we had. I'll give her a special pat just for you.

She is so well behaved, I forget she is mine sometimes. Endless energy for fun times. Looking to take her into the deep bush and camping next year. Stay tuned!

Thanks mate! I've been filming in 4K for a while now but its the steadying of the phone camera thats the trick. Thats taken a lot of videos to get right because the stabilisation can make the clarity of the 4K resolution look awful. About to open a new phone for Christmas, so hopefully there is boost in quality. Looking at that drone and a bike for the new year. Lots of adventures coming up! She loves being out with me, but I have lots of rules. She loves being out with her mother more - not as many rules ;)

That was about 6:30 in the morning. You can see the sun rising in the background. There is a reason she keeps running back to the shade; its so hot already! Summers here can be brutal. This is her first. She was just a little puppy in an air conditioned farmhouse this time last year.

This is a video I recorded back in 2016. 4 of the them were fostered out within a few months. We kept Charlie (the cat in my profile picture) until we realised we had way too many animals with a newborn baby. So we found her a very loving family nearby where she is queen of the castle. I raised her to be very tough. Day 1, she put their Greyhound dog in its place. Miss her everyday, but happy she is with people who can give her the attention she deserves.

Thank you so much! They are very social cats and will run away long before they get nasty. They've had a lot of adventures outdoors all over the country with us. Because its so dangerous for native animals they never go too far from the garden. They would be okay with Pete in their garden (usually our puppies garden when they're not about!).

My profile picture is a kitten from a litter of 5 that we rescued from under a house and adopted out. She was meant to become a family member but at the time we had 2 adult cattle dogs, 3 younger cats and a snake. Yes, a pet snake. She was very welcome to a new home where she is queen of the castle to this day.

That is the sound of our neighbours children in their yard. They're on the other side of the fence. The cats have a large room with a window that faces this area, so they're very comfortable with the sounds of the kids playing. These cats have had adventurous lives and are in their senior years now. The yard belongs to our puppy, Pepper. But they're used to cattle dogs and have been around them their whole lives.

@ You have a charming environment for your animals. I have two black cats also, and they are quietly living their senior years as well. These girls go out occasionally, but never venture as far as they used to. They pretty much lie in the sun on the porch.

Here in Australia domestic cats are a huge problem on the native animal population. Thankfully these three haven't killed anything that we know of, but they're certainly too old to be chasing anything now. The room they're in most of the time has three extra large cat trees, a futon fold down sofa lounge, two benches with a bean bag on it and plenty of toys. I'm not the cat person, I used to take care of them as kittens when I lived on a military base while they're owner would fly out and visit family. They grew attached to me and I treated them like puppies. Once I moved off the military base and moved in with them, we rescued a puppy named Auto. He was about the same size as the male cat and they were very playful and trusting of each other. It was only after we rescued another dog who wasn't as friendly with cats that they all had to be seperated. We also rescued a litter of kittens once and adopted them all out. And a snake. We had a beautiful snake that unfortunately developed a unique disease early in life otherwise there would be a whole playlist dedicated to her. An albino python who was very calm and curious. She is buried under our orange tree. Auto has recently been cremated and sits beside me every night. The other dog had to be adopted out because he became unpredictable around children and we have an 8 year old. If he is still alive, he is very happy on a large farm nearby with a couple who has no kids and lots of other rescued/abandoned pets.
