Helen is great, I grew up going there. One thing I can tell you is don't drink and drive. There are basically two ways in and out of downtown and cops have roadblocks at both ends very often.

My dad r.i.p used to take me there every year growing up I absolutely treasure the moments and memories from Helen.. I took my kids on vacation there last Easter and since my granny passed... but the memories I have of Helen are priceless as a child and a adult it's one of those hidden treasures it's a beautiful scenic place affordable activities for the whole family... probably one of my favorite destinations.... thank you for sharing this video ...

I bet it is alot of work and alot of money made ! I bet the proceeds went to the schools or the Jaycees .

Say what you want,but these bear will not survive in wild. they never hunted for food or caught to survive. Let ting these in the wild you just had bait or worst.

i have never been there but it looks like they are cruel to their animals.

That's no habitat for wildlife. Cement pits without any natural surroundings. Dislike.

I was there for the 2010 Oktoberfest. Even if you hate beer, GO! You don't know what you are missing. The town is more German than Germany. It's worth it just for the scenery, or the Clocks, or the rediculously sinful pasteries that make you gain 5lbs just looking at them! The food, the beers, the atmosphere, the residents of Helen are very good at what they do...

It's horrific. Bears in cement pits. No grass. No dirt. People throw food down to them. All they do is beg and pace. Shameful.
