As a Maverick fan it has been fun to searcch all over the internet for disrespect shown to this team..... this is more gold. For how wide open this West is it has been Dallas that has been to the WCF 2 of the last 3 years.. not OKC... Warriors.. Lakers... or Denver... Phoenix. For Dallas to go unmentioned when talking contenders is crazy... that is understanding you were mentioning teams with better odds than OKC but Dallas still should have been mentioned. And then you finally mention Dallas... the team that beat this OKC team, in 5 games, as the underdog with a star younger than SGA. You mention SGA getting better but no mention of Luka getting any better... just the Mavs being the same. The same Mavs team that was only together after the trade deadline. Luka has now taken two completely different rosters to the WCF and now he has contunuity and a preseason with these guys. The disrespect is at all time high.... thank you!
@Nastee.N8Ай бұрын
The Mavs are not mentioned in the title of this video. Why are you crying about them not being talked about? Are you seriously that desperate? Your team is not a contender. It would be in their best interest to trade Luka to the highest bidder, or spend the next 5-7 years being pretenders just like the Suns with Booker, the Sixers with Embiid, or the Hawks with Trae Young. Luka is better than all of those players, but he is in the same boat.

@Nastee.N8 solid🧌 statement... the title doesn't matter. You can't mention a team being the perfect team without mentioning why they are better than the teams around them.. and the team that beat them in 6 games the year prior.
@Nastee.N8Ай бұрын
@@JMiles003 The Mavs can’t touch OKC after this offseason. They won in 6 games by relying on their rookie Derek Lively (who played great). That shit isn’t gonna work next time
@JMiles003Ай бұрын
@Nastee.N8 if you watched the games closely, you'd know the Mavs should have won in 5. The Mavs were sleep walking in game 4 when they should have put OKC away. That was a hobbled Luka. And... what did OKC do this offseason to offset what the Mavs do? SGA got his averages last year, so losing DJJ for us doesn't matter. Kyrie averaged under his normal averages, so bringing Caruso doesn't change much. Are you expecting Hartenstein to be a bigger difference than Klay?
@BlackNoir777Ай бұрын
This is cap asf. This team isn't better nor perfect. Mavs still own that team. Okc is nothing but frontrunners
@Nastee.N8Ай бұрын
lol, whatever helps you sleep at night buddy.

@Nastee.N8 Didn't the Mavs walk them down in the second round? PJ Washington exposed SGAs' weak ass defense. Okc tried to hide him and he got cooked 💀
@Nastee.N8Ай бұрын
@@BlackNoir777 Mavs beat the Thunder because they played great interior defense. The Thunder have now retooled their roster to be able to deal with that problem. If anyone got exposed, it was Chet for his lack of physical strength.

Don't worry you're not the 9nly one who has been disrespectful towards him. It's the trend. Embiid is the only one on the team that hasn't played international ball or even AAU, let alone be a "complimentary" piece in lebron's system and defer to Curry. My problem is people focus on him because he's the perfect scapegoat. He's the only one not allowed to make a mistake. If you want to see the full stats go to tge fiba site.

He's too short to be a shooting guard. His excellent defensive effort goes out the window if he is too short to compete. So, to be a good NBA player, he'd have to primarily be a point guard. That means he needs to get far better as a ball handler, facilitator, and shooter. I think there is reason to hope on the shooting part. I was impressed by his shooting at the star drill (far better than anything he showed in college). Frankly, if he weren't Lebron's son, my guess would be that he'd develop into an extremely valuable four year college player, make quite a bit of money through NIL, and then get drafted in the second round. His NBA ceiling would be as a backup point guard. And his floor would be bouncing around the G-league for a few years before going to Europe.

As a mavs fan: I heard😮 rumors before getting PJ washington, That Deni or kuzma were linked. I would love that. He would be a great 3 or 4 option for a good team. Solid defender, playmaker and now a decent shooter

Thanks man, very nice analysis! Enjoyed all your comments. Wemby 20, Sengun 21 I don't think there is much difference about their experience, because due to Sillas in Sengun's first 2 years he couldn't have those times like Wemby is getting in his first year. Just recently in his 3rd year, Sengun is getting much more time similar to Wemby. I think both Sengun and Wemby are very talented players. However, that extra 5 inch height and wingspan create major disadvantage for Sengun. This game was a beautiful example where skill and IQ win over raw physical height and length advantage!

Deni is going to be no 1 for the wizards. he needs his ball in his hand to do so. i truly believe that until next season he will have a good mid shot jumper from the dribble which is something that he still don't have in high level.

Love the break down on SD. Moreover We are sleeping on what a healthy gabe vincent brings to this rotation. He could be a shorter version of dejoutat murray with a quick release 3pt shot. His midrange is pure money, he's a gritty defender at the pg position and a tough bucket creator. He will give thr 2nd unit guards wide open shots like Spence D and feed jaxson hayes and wood on that unit. He's a scoring guard 1st. Like ar15 is for us. Spencer D is more a playmaker imo like dlo is.
