Many opportunities for hidden passages and secrets and none actually used or made. It's what the beauty of Keen 4 was, how complex the game was when you started finding all the inbuilt secrets and sections of the maps. Nice level regardless.

The only reason I ever found this secret was because of the hint that Princess Lindsey gives you from the Chasm level - although, even SHE was rather tricky to find.

Ah yes, when I was a kid I always wished there was a way to get down there, but later in life when I learned how to display the solids using a debug key, I discovered that it was impossible without cheating. What a shame.

There are actually a few jugs, candy etc that is impossible to get without the jump cheat in the game on various levels. Like int he far top corners and things. Some actually have secret invisible platforms though.

How can you turn the jump cheat on ?

You will need to push A+ 2+[ENTER] to turn debug mode on in order to use any of the cheats. The jump cheat is activated by pressing [F10]+J. Note: In the years since this video was recorded an Ultimate Edition has been developed, which includes the original levels with slight modifications (see Szemigi's comment). I made a new video of Lifewater Oasis when playing Ultimate Edition - the "unreachable" area has been made accessible without cheating.

You can get out of the shaft!!! there's a *very* hidden ledge at the right side. You have to wait for the spears to retract, use the pogo at the very edge and jump pressing to the right side. Just figured it out yesterday.

I cant get past the part where you go in the door and go to the ledge beside the 3 pop bottles... I cant jump up and get inside. Any suggestions

I don't know if you've figured it out by now. I was able to do this in Hard mode (I haven't made videos in all 3 modes yet), by using the pogo stick. Two suggestions would be to jump off the side of the ledge closest to the opening, and use your controls to move up and right at the same time. If this doesn't get you far enough to the right, you will need to jump from the left side of the ledge over to the other side by using your pogo stick, and then up-right (and be sure to turn your pogo stick off after you've jumped). It will be a close call, but I didn't have much trouble doing it. The good news for someone who just wants to pass the level is that the top area is optional.

This was a very proud moment of my childhood, I had no internet or anything, figured this out all on my own. Though, I guess it is a fairly common thing a kid would try to do once you notice the inchworms follow you, get them all together lol.

no it is because of the water and keen cant really swim but i thought maybe you could clip through a wall and maybe grab one but i didnt think like this
