Its gorgeous! A real Few Candy rural masterpiece! This is the kind of scenic rural area we drive to on the weekends for a Sunday drive. You asked about some other farms? Yes! There are a couple of types we have near us: in the fall months and at Christmas some farms become tourist destinations: In the fall in areas like near the river here they have "Harvest Home" with hay bale mazes and pumpkin carving; in the hills are Christmas tree farms ,with the trees, of course, but also a Santa's village. There is usually in a village a popular restaurant with an outdoor dining area (and can be quite upscale with farm to table produce -we live in California) and then a wholesale nursery, and odd industrial bits like a soil and stoneyard; a rural rest stop off the highway for the truckers. Then there is a roadhouse which is a honky tonk saloon that bikers like. Something for everyone!

Realistically, all the fields would not have fencing or massive trees enclosing the property. Trees do separate fields and usually cover the back of the properties. You need to be able to get cultivating equipment out and in effortlessly. I drive by tons of farms on my way to and from work every day. Fencing is for the cows and goats I see. And the occasional horse. Otherwise, super cool build as always.

Definitely NOT a FEW trees planted this episode! ;)

Queen of detailing! Stunning build! I would maybe suggest that the surface level electrical pylons would look nice along the rural roads rather than underground? They would blend in nicely (and we do see some of the larger ones across farm fields too!) Also, we need a rural/region dlc where they improve farms and add more variety (and great opportunity to implement fences, hedgerows, water management, rural tourism etc.

Incredible looking farm area FewC - If there is any breweries in the game, then adding one to a farm should increase your beverages. You wouldn't believe how many farms in the UK actually have breweries on them nowadays.

For that building that pops up in the middle of a farm, why don't you just work with it and adjust the farm in front, then put non-functional machinery, or a yard (to make it look like a house, depending on the building), etc.? You cut other areas out of the farmland, just make them smaller so you still get your production, and then you have a sensible building.

I like how you were able to make the absolutely mind-boggling terrible "middle of the field" spawned in buildings actually look good, well done! I still hope they remove those in a further patch though.

I was slightly worried about this build at first... but man, you really turned it around into something stunning! Phenomenal job as always 👏.

Watching this has made me reminisce about visiting the various farms in my area of the world. After all, New Jersey is known as the "Garden State" There are plenty of nice farms here that welcome visitors. The video makes me want to take another day trip to a farm. 😁

No-one on Cities Skylines has a bigger difference between pre-detailing and post-detailing. Literally every time, I'm thinking "Really?" before you detail it, and then by the end I'm wondering why I ever doubted you.

The Farm animals need their own hang out areas or they will wander all over the map. You might have to look in dev mode to find them.

maybe you could make the yellow fields a bit darker with the custom colors surfaces pack. there are surfaces that make others darker... idk, just an idea

If you put a hang around area around the animals, it'll better tell them where they are allowed to go and should function a little better 😊 Look at Sully's zoo build for an example. Awesome build, love the farms on the hills!

The plaza outside the new train station is really nice and I think the neon lights are alright - especially considering they add to the pop of colour the houses provide to this area. Also a lot of small detailable spaces generated with the non-uniform road layout, which fits the european vibe quite a bit.

Well said in the beginning. Im not even joking but ever since harambe everything is so toxic. sometimes its deserved but nowdays feels like people hate stuff just because they want to. My mom always used to say its easier to be negative because you dont have to put effort into it.

Do you not have to zone the plopped properties? When i do that they get condemned.

So you need the mod plop the growables, within that there’s a setting to allow plopped buildings without zones, can also make the building historical on plopping!

I like to have some canals in my downtown and i especially love to use wider bridges over them, since you get these beautiful arch bridges. And gosh i love to have tram tracks on these bridges, the way it looks when a tram passes over these arch bridges reminds me a bit of the Tilikum Crossing in Portland. Though that isn’t an arch bridge, it still has the same white, modern look.

Thanks for sharing this, I bought the deluxe version. I will keep periodically checking the Reddit and creators such as yourself to see whether CS2 has gotten to the stage where I would be willing to go back to playing it.

Bit late to the party, ie watching this, but I did always hear what Mariina said as being spot and taking responsibility for the state of the game. Wonder why "everyone else" seems to have gotten the idea that she ignored all the bad stuff

It's a 20-meter-long road segment; of course, it will switch lanes there, especially on a highway where trucks keep driving in the right lane. Build realistic highway intersections if you want to see realistic traffic.

I love Cities Skylines (1), but I honestly think if another party started developing a city sim in Unreal Engine today and Utilize the Apparatus Plugin for ECS framework, we could have a city builder/sim we have all dreamed of. I just don't see how CO could possibly bring Cities 2 to an equivalent level within the next 4 years without (again) completely re-writing the game. Even if Unity was used, I think CO seriously messed up on Cities 2 fundamentally. I was shocked we still have cells and not true plots. Here's to hoping, fingers crossed but not holding my breath
