This has to be one of the most dogshit takes regarding this movie that I've ever seen. Why go into this without at least watching the other Deadpool movies or the X-Men movies? Not even Logan? Because c'mon, that's a damn good movie. I take it you haven't watched Fantastic 4 either... It's meant to be a fun movie, making plenty of people laugh and bringing back really obscure characters. You must be great at parties /j

Everyone has their own opinion, but if you watch a film without watching the previous films and not liking Ryan Reynolds humor than you shouldn't watch the movie and even if you do watch the movie you shouldn't make a review on it if you barely understand the characters or the movie its just disrespectful to call a movie you don't understand pointless

its just fun dude. Its like paintball or rollerblade disco or smth. You just go in have some dumb fun and be happy. Thats the point. Making people happy. And this movie made a lot of people happy. The priority is entertainment. its not always necessary for a movie to have groundbreaking writing or plot and if u cant have fun just dont see and watch smth u would enjoy.

@@CynicalBob Age 100% does, it's called nostalgia as well as culture. Back when the original X-men movies came out, you couldn't simply just go on "Disney Plus" It was a different time. You went into a movie for fans of X-Men and Deadpool without even seeing any of the films and you were disappointed. Another point is that is literally who Deadpool is as a character when you say "Pop culture reference that leads into a self-deprecating sexual reference". To be honest, this review is very surface-leveled as it feels like a check-mark review than an actual review. To finish off with my initial comment and final words; you set expectations for a film you knew nothing about nor had interest in and self-prophesied. This critique is in good faith though and I hope you're future reviews are thorough.

That is like watching the season finale to a spin off show while having never seen the season, only seen a few eps of the original show, and never read the souce books. Then deciding the plot was hard to follow. You can say it isn't for you at that point, but you really cannot critique the humor. It isn't a niche audience that the movie played to (though the deeper the fan, the more nods were there), it was an audience that you were willfully not a part of. That is absolutely fine to be, but you should remember to take that into account in a critique. Otherwise, you're just sharing your taste.

It is my own video on my own KZbin channel sharing my own thoughts and feelings on the movie. If you prefer reviews that are more objective, that’s fine. But just know that that is not the type of video I enjoy making.
