I bought one around 10 years ago (it is one year older than me, it’s made 1987) and I use it since. Perfect gun. Lightweight, simple mechanism, durable i love it. Use it mostly for pheasants and ducks

You didn't put it in the sun? That seems different from the other videos that I've seen on this. Maybe this takes a little longer? Great information and thanks for making this, I'm trying to learn as much as I can in a short amount of time these days.

I’m from Texas and married to a Ukrainian woman. I love taranka and beer. My favorite is gustirka. I’m crazy for this. We have a fish in Texas called crappie or white perch I want to do this with. I think it may be the best salt dried fish anywhere.

In my language this is "kidžukalua", but we only really do it in late winter/early spring when its freezing at night but warm in the daytime, and when there is this weather phenomenon called "ahau", which is like a dry and cold spring wind mixed with the sunshine. Also, instead of using a stick to keep the fish open, we flip the fish inside-out and hang it from the tail, so the salty liquid stored in the head drops out. We do other types of meats like this too, its great 👍

Have you tried mixing it with ground meat to make burgers? Should I cook it first or mix it raw since it will cook anyway?

do not use for a field gun. this is trap or skeet only. if you want a cheap reliable field gun try remington 870, perfect. I would say this gun is exactly what I will get for the trap and skeet range

It's the Fun Esthetic Factor. Just like Eating Crab and Lobster, The Way Most High End Restaurants Serve them, As the Whole Animal. Just like Southerners With Their Crawfish. Part of the Fun, To Rip Apart the Dried Fish, Digging out the Meat, While Hanging Out With Friends, Drinking Beer or Kvas Around the Campfire
