DaVinci gouache is quite good, definitely artists’ gouache but not the pigment load in Graham. It’s labeled “opaque watercolor,” and I think it’s best to treat it as such. Perhaps it behaves similarly to Gansai Tambi? The colors you have there are all from pigment that is more transparent, so some transparency is to be expected. DaVinci works well for building layers to achieve opacity, but you can go direct and very opaque with paint straight from the tube. The problem is the sheen that you may get from the higher ratio of gum arabic in some colors. For that, designers’ gouache (W&N, Holbein) is popular. I think what turns people off of DaVinci is the gummy/sticky texture found in many of their colors. It isn’t to much trouble to soften for those working a dry palette, and the dried gouache doesn’t readily crack and fall out of the pans. I spent a while working with DaVinci and learned to work with its different character and to enjoy its advantages.

I love art haul videos! The Daniel Smith watercolors are my absolute favorites, there are so many unique, beautiful shades...! Moon Glow especially looks gorgeous, I don't have that one and now I'm itching to get some new shades.... :) Also, I'm excited to see that Khadi paper, I've been curious about their thinner paper.
