Conor is a troll fighter in my opinion. I don't think he's at an elite level anymore. Was he champion? Yes. Do I believe he's ever champion again? No. He's whole persona is a gimmick. But at the end of the day, the man knew how to do one thing really well. Make money.

People do not listen to articulate people. People listen to people they want to agree with. Jordan has spent the last 5 years articulating why leftism is bankrupt, but there are millions of people out there who are still screaming at feminist rallies, rioting, and persecuting their political enemies. The problem is not articulation, it is the disposition of the hearts of men.

If you don't know why something is so the you will not truly understand it and will most likely do it wrong. This is why I am so critical of religion. It's not that I don't believe in God. I just instinctively question the truth of anything that is considered true because they need it to be true to sustain their faith. They just accept what they are told is true but they don't truly know why. Even if what you believe is true is actually true if you don't understand why then you will likely misinterpret it and end up distorting truth.If you aren't willing to question what you believe then your faith in it is weak. True faith isn't afraid to change and learn new perspectives to reach a higher understanding of the truth. You need to really ask yourself what is more important to you. The truth or what you believe to be true.
@beyondlimitmotivation
@beyondlimitmotivation 9 ай бұрын
Well said, but what is truth then? Mostly it is a perspective that a bigger crowd of people have a common belief towards something that they believe it's true, but will it make it false to believe the opposite if a large number of people believe that? Where lies the middle ground? What do you think?
@reapaknight3611
@reapaknight3611 9 ай бұрын
@@beyondlimitmotivationThere is no middle ground to the truth. No matter what you believe the truth doesn't care. If you really want to know the truth then never tell yourself you completely figured it out. Be flexible. You get bits and pieces of it the longer you keep searching for it. The more pieces you get the more grains of truth you can incorporate into your life. But just having a few grains of sand a beach it does not make. One of the grains of truth I live by that religion has taught to me is mankind is imperfect. No matter what religion you subscribe to, this seems to be a common theme. One I happen to agree with. So if mankind is inperfect the it should be impossible for him to keep a perfect truth. If God gave a speech in person to everyone in the world at the same time in words that transcend any language barriers, mankind would come away from that speech with millions of interpretations of what he ment. Even when you have an established doctrine it gets distorted as it is passed on to the following generations imperfectly. I've actually seen cases where the beliefs of a particular religion actually differed from their written doctrine. And this isn't restricted to religion. I've seen multiple times Democrats in America being interviewed about why the love the Democrat party and hate the Republicans. It turn out that everything that hated about the republicans was actually the policies of the democrats while the things they liked about the democrats we're thing the democrats rejected and the republicans embraced. Regardless of what a person believes politically, they should at least try to be more aware of what they are voting for. It doesn't do a whole of good to try to improve your community with your vote if you unknowingly vote against those improvements thinking you were voting for them. But that's what you get when you get so caught up in what you believe they you refuse to consider the possibility you might not know what you're talking about. How could you ever correct your mistake if you never consider the possibility you may be mistaken? You cannot fill a cup that is already full and you cannot teach someone who knows everything.

@@reapaknight3611 But what about if the glass is filled with water half way. Is it half empty or half full? Which one is true? But how about an idea that everything is already written by God and know by him. How can you make a mistake then?
@reapaknight3611
@reapaknight3611 9 ай бұрын
@@beyondlimitmotivation This is the biggest mistake in religion. God did not create religion. We did. God gave us truth. We created religion to spread that truth. If our efforts to spread that truth found us tripping and falling flat on our faces God isn't going to step in and do our walking for us. He might make a few suggestions like any concerned parent but he never promised to protect us from either our own stupidity or others. He just patiently reiterates the truth again to us. The belief that there is one particular group of people in the world that he talks to so they can be the only true holders of his message is ridiculous and quite narcissistic. He talks to all of us. No one is above anyone else in his eyes. Anyone who tells you you have to come through them in order to be closer to God is a scam artist lamenting the fact that they can't outright claim to be God themselves. Wars have constantly been fought on this issue. Kings either claimed to be the voice of God, his son or that they we God themselves. Why exactly. Power. Pure and simple. They wanted to steal the faith and devotion to God that resulted in unlimited wealth and power. Religion can be a tool to promote any belief. It can even promote many different beliefs. The fact that it starts out about God doesn't prevent the politicians from inserting their agendas into the religious doctrine on the side like a bunch of lobbyists. Everyone has their own version of the truth they want to sell you. God has never promised or even inferred he has any intention of policing religion. It's not his creation. This is solely a product of our own making. And if we did a good job at it there wouldn't be so much confusion around it. If God actually stepped in and formed a religion unto him it would be perfect. And that perfection would be felt most as a complete lack of confusion in it's meaning. You should take a good look a scripture sometime and ask yourself how clear is this message. Does it really make sense for a supreme being to take an approach of spreading truth by making such a vague description of it or is it more likely that the author only has a vague understanding of the material he's trying to convey. By the way. A cup that is half full is also half empty. If we focus on either side of that scenario we are ignoring one half of the truth of it. It isn't half full or half empty it's both. Focusing one one or the other might appeal to us emotionally but it's still a denial of half the truth. If we focus on both then we can cherish the half that is full while also respecting the limitations of our supply and value it more when we see the loss of the empty part. As the saying goes. You can't have your cake and eat it too. Sooner or later that half glass is going to be completely empty. We can either whine or complain about having an empty class or use it as excuse to start filling it back up again.

@@reapaknight3611 Man, true that what you are saying. Well said and written, I like the way you think! Do you believe in God? Or where do you stand on that behalf? Because it is the same point that David Goggins makes, that we must accept the dark side of us because there is a lot of light in there if you don't let the darkness consume you. Most of us have a dark past that we are afraid of looking back at and for me it has created a lot of suffering to those I loved the most because i let the darkness consume me and made life miserable to the people around me. Since 2 weeks ago i decided to pray for the first time to God so he could teach me how to love and trust again, i have done it in the past as well and something chances in me, I do not know how to explain it. If you have god with you ( I say RAM, in sanskrit meaning God, in my head over and over again and it grounds me in ways I can't really explain). By the way i have really enjoyed the conversation so far. You have a deep understanding about the subject and i enjoy a intellectual conversation like this!
