Wish he didn't bodyslam his guitar there at the end, but other than that, this is up there in terms of one of the most powerful live performances of all time.

Punk is foreign to Americans?!? Tell that to the Ramones, or NOFX, or The Dead Kennedys, or Blink-182, or Green Day, or Bad Brains, or Black Flag, or literally hundreds of foundational punk groups from the US.

I believe its important to start with, I am not throwing any shade. This band is under reacted ti and frankly under appreciated thank you for giving them a look. I hope in your free time you gave a listen to moment of silence and then this one to see why everyone was whining 😂 much love

Stiff Richards and Civic are two other badass Aussie bands to check out that are newer. You guys are spot on about Amyl and the Sniffers capturing that old-school punk sound, but Amy is way more punk than Johnny Rotten ever was, lol! I just got my ticket to see them in April!

They're from Melbourne, Australia. Huge music city....AC/DC, Crowded House, Olivia Newton John, LRB, Nick Cave, Jet, Air Supply, Men at Work, King Gizzard, Cosmic Psychos, Cut Copy, Dirty Three, Dead Can Dance, Kylie Minogue, Gotye, Tash Sultana, etc etc etc. I don't think we got them either at first but they are def part of the rich tapestry of performers emanating from here. They're based in LA now. Thanks for the review.

Discerning choice, Gentlemen. Nice reaction. The series (detectorists) is extremely evocative of summers in the UK's East Anglia. Warm beer. Old friends. Big skies. A slow pace. The introspection of middle age. Much loved here. Thanks for a thoughtful reaction ...

honestly I watch a lot of reaction videos and you guys are really polished. bros Don't have any idea how much work this is especially along with the day job, family etc. you deserve any cheese you reap. The video was humorous and polite and very well thought out. I don't think anyone could have responded like you response regarding MC5. that was epic! side note I have notifications on but somewhere in the vast world of Android settings I must have done something to block KZbin? I really have no business in those settings anymore lol again great work I look forward to your videos. both in that they are good and of course nice seeing you guys again!

Sturgill is thee man. Great review guys. Its a lot to take in but heres the quick overview. Sunday valley was his first band. Then he left and went solo and has played with Miles miller(drummer) and laur joamets(Lead) for most of it. He had a vocal hemorrhage in 2022 and was forced to stop making music for a year. When he came back, He was johnny blue skies. There is a reasoning for all of it but you will have to look it up! If i was going to recommend anything from here is his ACL concert set or the one on his youtube. Also he is covering a lot of different songs this your but you never know what ones you will get. From L.a woman, red red wine, and Purple rain. Thank you guys again for the vid!

Please can you check out some U2 ....' Where the Steets have no name' Famously filmed on top a warehouse rooftop in down town LA , amidst an entire army of of LAPD ordering their shutdown... one only has to look at the streets flooding with ecstatic people🤸‍♂️💃🤸‍♀️ like a breaking🌊 dam🌊 ...I think you will enjoy Also could you check out the late sinead o connor breathtaking performance at the US Grammys (before her controversy infringed on her) She opens the show spectacularly...her breathtaking vocals , her effortless beauty and of her bald head of course! She actually... (if I recall correctly) had something tattooed on the side of her head in protect of some band or music type that had been banned from performing at that time. Some live performances are really once in a lifetime.

I don't get it. I've watched several videos of Sturgill, I've watched a TV special with his band, and I don't get it. As a singer and as a guitar player Sturgill is average at best. The musicians in the band are good, I like his guitar player, but the songs lack, and that's really the biggest thing isn't it? Take this one, it's a one chord song, got a boogie woogie feel to it, which is alright. but it never goes anywhere, it just repeats the same things over and over and over. And that's not a problem inherent in one chord songs, I love one chord songs, they are fun to play and as a soloist you can really take off and develop cool solo's, but that doesn't happen here. It never goes anywhere, it's just wanking. All of his songs are rather flat, they aren't bad, but they're just flat. They have no hook. They're uninteresting. Then I see people's reaction saying how good he is, and I just don't get it. I'll just say it, this guy sucks.
