Monster girls transformation does not have a time limit, and when she is in monster form she has total control as well. we pretty much see 3 different monster girl monster forms, one where she is around 11, one where she is in her 30s, and one where she Is an infant. In her 30s form she has over 700 years of experience, but is considerably weaker. In her infant form, I doubt anyone is stronger than she is, even an entire team of Viltrumites has to wait until she tires herself out, but she has the mind of an infant. I think the fight really depends on what stage of monster girl we see.

Like mark is strong enough to probably like blow up a galaxy or something and can survive a long battle taking place in/ next to the sun despite heat being one of their weaknesses but kryptonians are just built different, they can easily surpass the speed of light and can both punch hard enough to one shot 4th and 5th dimensional creatures but they can also shatter the source wall as well as (pre crisis Superman) sneeze away entire solar systems. The fight just isnt fair, and if mark even has a chance of winning all supergirl has to do would be to just stand/fly next to a sun and she would get more powerful.

Sure kryptonions were starting to travel the cosmos but they relied heavily on technology to do such and when supplies stopped coming in from homeland all of their colonies died. where as with viltrumites... you could have 2 or 3 just fly around and take over a planet. if yall aren't aware of all the comic book lore... mark becomes the most powerful Viltrumite in history and beats the breaks off anyone. but if we're being truly honest with ourselves... we all know they made invincible to basically tell the story "what if superman's story was a little different" so its really like they're the same species and its moot point to compare/compete
