This helps but your horse may not trust the farrier!

My Farrier is very rough with my horses . My husband and me can do all this . They give our Farrier a hard time .

Thank you for taking your time to work with him during the video! So many people edit those moments out and it sets learners up for failure in my opinion, because then you are backtracking to troubleshoot.

I have never interacted with horses, but I consider trying it soon. I think it could fit me as a new hobby. Reading books and watching some YT's videos, so I'm better prepared before I step into the horse world

OMG I have had a few farriers but the problems not with the horse it’s with the farrier honestly!! If my horse even moves an inch the farrier is jerking on his lease line hard or punches in guts not roughly but enough to upset my horse if he wasn’t the best farrier he wouldn’t be my farrier so we as horses owners knows what’s what!!🙀🙀🙀🥲🇦🇺🇦🇺

I had a very bad farrier quick my horse, she is terrified of farriers now. I fired him that day. When a horse is afraid it is so much different than it misbehaving. Trying to get her over her fear, is hard! She can no longer wear shoes, all because of that one horrible farrier. The farrier I have now is patient and kind. He wants to sedate her though and I do not want that.

I have been riding horses for over 30 years. I am currently a certified Farrier. I just want to thank you for your video. The way you explained posture on A HORSE is more understandable than I’ve ever heard anyone explain it. Very very important facts that you pointed out. Your video helped me as well! Thank you!

I'm wondering how much people know about horse breeds.. Arabians were bred to constantly look out for the enemy, Just like this horse is doing. Every breed has a specific purpose, and the cruelest thing to do to a horse is to try force a discipline on it that's foreign to it's breeds characteristics. I dearly love Arabians, but I'll be the first to say they don't excel at most equine disciplines and sports. And they don't have to, they weren't bred for that. I know, I'm an Arab myself. ❤

While there are some horses that are taught this without abuse and generally enjoy it, I'm worried that is a scar on his nose from a Spanish noseband.
