6D44/6X44 runs most days and is like a trip working to Toton. Usually with yellow tubs or NR wagons. If no traffic it often runs LE or multiple loco's. I've had 3 before but never 5 lol.

Excellent stuff as usual Brian, it looks like the white DB van that arrived had a change of driver due to 6M35 failing at Elford early this morning with 66127 rescuing 66021. To replace the original who would be out of hours. It was two hours late or so arriving.

Appreciated thanks Paul.... I was unaware of those issues but a crew for the tanks had arrived earlier in a taxi and that was 2nd time for the DB van. I know there was a Red Shed in the siding but clueless as always to what was going on Lol. Cheers, Brian.

Brian you picked the best place for the first tour at Water Orton, but looking at it another way its good we captured the same train at on different bridges. It was a shame that the class 40 went out of New St the other way but it happens to all of us sometimes, regards Mike.

That early low sun obviously deterred the photters as I was unusually on my own. Was surprised to see you were just out of sight. I half suspected it and could have probably got to Hamstead. Was too busy with the 'Belle' to notice the 'No report' via Lifford... Duh!! A good day though and nice to see the 86 too. Regards, Brian.

As with anywhere on the WCML it's constant traffic and you would be happy enough with the EMU's. Also it's in the heart of the town for 'facilities' .... Nuneaton offers the same traffic but with the XC & freight crossing too.

@@LiamsLocos Steam is very infrequent Liam as it tends to go via Whitacre jct & Coleshill especially VT of course. Most of the steam tends to come from Nuneaton direction.
