PW2037 roar, a little deeper and mellower than the RB211. I assume it's Delta.

Considering the growl faded away after the thrust reduction I believe this was at or near full power. Otherwise there wouldn't have been this much of a growl. Flaps were also aggressively set for takeoff, as the slats were in the 2nd position. Excellent catch

Only about 30 seconds from engine spin-up to plane rotation. Pretty normal, and still had plenty of runway left at LAX.

Justinisapassenger. Absolutely normal take off. Well , maybe not for a small plane pilot.

Seemed normal, or even shorter for -900 going cross country.

Dangerous without taking precautions for a short field takeoff but they did it, barely.

1:50 There’s the whale noise that the A220 has become known for: happens on the new geared engines when throttle levers are moved. I often notice it when they fly over my house on approach into SEA.

Do you know the tail number at this point? I’ve been on 4 of these Delta 737-800s N384DA (mfg. 1999) N388DA (mfg. 2000) N3749D (mfg. 2001) N3761R (mfg. 2001, Skyteam livery) If it had the older adjustable seat back IFE screens with the bulky white bezel, it was actually a newer 2001 aircraft. The 1999-2000 ones didn’t have any IFE until much, much later. And this doesn’t count the newer Ex-GOL ones with the MAX-like interiors.

dude keep your nonsensical political bs out of the comment sections of aviation videos. THE WHOLE DEI bs is a load of bs. Do you know how hard it is to become an air transport pilot??? 1. You have to get your private pilots license thats 40 hours of ground school 20 hours of flying with a CFI(certified flight instructor) and 10 hours of flying solo as-well as a 2 hour verbal exam with a 2 hour checkride following that. 2. Then you gotta get IFR rated which is 50 hours of cross-country flight time, 40 hours of actual or simulated instrument time and 15 hours of doing that WITH a CFI 3. Plus getting a commercial pilot certificate which requires 250 hours of flight time 4. AND then you have to have 500 hours of cross-country time, 100 hours of night time, 50 hours in the class of airplane your getting rated on 75 hours of instrument time and 250 hours as the pilot in command Not to mention the numerous checkrides done BY the FAA which are extremely difficult and easy to fail, you have no idea what your talking about in aviation there is no such thing as a diversity hire.
