The voice actor of mark fury would later play Squidward on SpongeBob SquarePants. Maxx steel is voiced by the late Robert Ridgeley. Peter Cullen voiced coptor.

This thing had some neat scifi utilitarian-ish robot designs. The lore of the series that would have been was pretty cool, but this pilot crams like what would normally be a whole season into a 22 minute timeframe and you can feel the squish towards the later parts of this pilot. Had they released these figures just a bit earlier they probably wouldn't' have been completely overshadowed by transformers lmao. Found out about these in the 2000s when a hobby shop by me had a ton of them new in box for like 10 dollars each. I got hun-dred and both him and the box have vanished at some point during cleaning back in the day. They're probably somewhere. I think the most interesting thing about these figures is how weirdly easy to come by they are despite being deemed a failure, and in really weirdly good condition for something that's now 40 years old. Then again being made by ideal probably had something to do with them still being intact. See: Rattle me bones for another thing made by them that's weirdly in decent quality whenever you come across them. Usually when you find them there's always one or 2 missing/broke pieces but not super yellowed(unless you're looking for sentinel that's like a 50/50 chance if he's yellowed or not) but it's not like fragile brittle nightmare stuff.

This really was the "We got a 80s toy line at home." 80s toy line, lol.

What a blast from the past. I had one of those robots as a kid. "Vulgar the Destroyer", lol. Have forgotten all about it, until I remembered it today and had to look it up. Seriously though, this must be one of the lamest 80s toy lines ever. Just random trashcan-looking robots with suction cups instead of legs. What were they thinking? No wonder this is so obscure and pretty much forgotten by now.

I loved Robotix as toys. The animated series is the worst thing ever.
Was this show even on TV on the west coast in1984? Do not remember.

I had one of the toys, but didn't know there was a cartoon series. If I remember correctly, the toy came together with a pretty substantial little comic book that explained the lore. I don't remember details anymore though and can't say whether it was like this cartoon.

I remembers Biker Mice from Mars when i first watched as a kid back in 1994. I know they also did the second reboot but I still prefer their original characters designs but I still wished this whole Series has finally released onto the complete DVD collection at last. I'm hoping that Discotek Media since they have released past cartoon/anime series onto SDBD Blu-ray just like Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog, Street Sharks and now Extreme Dinosaurs.
