Congratulations on placing first in state, bringing home the gold and that nice state band ring. You all deserve it. North lamar would like not to be introduced as paris north lamar. The City of paris annexed North Lamar. Stuff happens. So now they want to call it paris north lamar. So just because we won they won too. No. Just explaining for the folks who have always heard us called North Lamar, introduced as North Lamar cause that is who we are. We wish paris the best we truly do! But we do not want to be called Paris. Nor do we want Paris taking credit for what we do. It is two different schools. We want the name changed back. We do not represent Paris. We are North Lamar strong!!!!! Hope this stops all the questions about the name change.

Ok, Kevin Jeannine my god I cant even start to begin to tell you the awesomeness you already know you have built at Tarpon. Amaze! But that announcer said Tarpon is the only Florida band to make BOA finals since 1993. Actually 93 and 94 BOA belonged to Seminole High School, the roots when Mr. Ford was with us before he got to flourish with Tarpon a few years later. BOA always announcing something a little bit off. These BoA years were so long ago and prolly now seem insignificant to most B U T I kinda remember being in my tux with "Laura Krygier" as drum majors or something (my last name also spelled wrong on the video, yes the video-break out the VCR's) with Seminole HS way back when and you had gifted us your amazingness with that Appalachian Spring show with Mike Robinson. just cant say how awesome it was to be a part of Kevin Ford's early early years at Seminole and for me personally at 94 Crossmen too! Im honored to have done that. Truly it's so cool to catch the plethora of shows at Tarpon here and there online, band and winterguard that Mr. Ford has put out with TSHS, and despite being a Seminole HS graduate still feeling pride in something that i was actually a part of in its inception. Hey the Fordman needed his own gig..... duh!! Thank you Kevin. Go Tarpon Springs.... forever!! I mean it;s 2023 and I just happened to catch this 2010 show now so.....its simple gift to be able to choose from many and see the sheer absolute wonder thats been going on. this is all unprecidented legacy. Peace to all from San Francisco , my new bay area home. Too hot back in Florida 4 me tho lol :) Best of everything to TSHS band program.

I hated that tarpon spring was in our region took 1st from us lol loved this show though

This is among the best use of scales I've ever seen. The ascending and descending scale sections across the entire band were very well used. the show has probably the greatest theatrical effect I've ever seen. This is a band that really knows how to have fun, and you can respect that no matter what level you're at.
