I’m an early riser as well. Up at 5:30. Walk my dog for at least half an hour, shower and prep for work, a proper breakfast and some reading as well to relax myself before leaving for work.

Fabulous I too get up early and each day I do some simple tasks, like cleaning the toilets for example, preparing lunches, squeezing orange juice and then back to bed for 10mins of meditation, then Wordle and then reading the news, Instagram then cup of tea in bed, then bath, breakfast and then to work two days a week by bike.

Also, if you just had a baby, it takes a while to figure out what your body shape settles out at. Don’t get rid of anything until you are sure you won’t wear it again.

Absolutely, that's a great point! As a mom with three little ones aged 1, 4, and 6, I've learned that it takes time for your body to settle after having a baby, and with every baby the time can be different. So something that doesn't fit right now might become a favorite piece in a few months.

I have a lot of silk dresses and wear them all the time, it’s my favorite fabric because of its incredible comfort for hyper-sensitive skin like mine. I don’t believe in saving anything “for best”, they never get worn that way.

Silk dresses are such a fantastic choice, especially for sensitive skin. Silk is my favorite material, and as a designer, I love to use it as a lining as well as the main fabric because of its incredible characteristics - it's super important what we wear against the skin. I completely agree about not saving things "for best" - my motto is not to save our beautiful garments for special occasions because every day is special. ☺

I wear mostly dresses, or skirt outfits, year-round. The reason is simple: their superior comfort. I have a tricky, narrow and straight figure and finding trousers that fit is virtually impossible. Plus, I love the ease and femininity of a “draped bottom”. I miss that swish when I walk when I wear trousers! I also prefer a classic, tailored style, so most of the femininity in my outfits comes from the skirted bottoms and the soft colors and fabrics I love. I’m not a fan of girlish details like puffed sleeves and tiers. I need sophisticated clothes at my age, 64.
