I’m in Florida going to team with a Bro… he has a CDL, I don’t even have a permit and still kicking weed. In the meantime I’m studying for the test and getting the money for my DT .. Covenant I’ve read on their website and read past truckers couple and people reviews, They will even train you if you have no experience and pay for your CDL and they take like 50 out of every check till it’s paid off and of course you can offer more money to expedite that process and take your CDL to a local company. Either way.. YES THEY DO. My bro has been out for a year, me teaming with him gets him in easy but he could’ve went solo and they would give him a random team driver

All of this sound ridiculous we already passed our backing maneuvers during school, why do we go out with a trainer then come back to get tested and what happens if you fail the backing maneuvers? What disqualifies you? Because in the real world you can get out and look as much as possible, you can pull up as much as possible so why is this test even needed??

Hey I know you may not respond right away to this but , I’m here in orientation now. I’m not sure if you still work for covenant & if you’re on that account. There is a guy here stating that he’s only making between $800-1000 every week on that account. Is this an OTR account? Because it’s no way he should be bringing that home
@RelentlessEnterprize4 ай бұрын
I am no longer with Covenant, I got a semi local job with great pay so I left. I don’t know exactly what that specific persons situation might be. But my brother who was my co-driver had absolutely zero experience but had all his endorsements with the Estes Wildcat account he was making $1600-$1800 net on average. The reason why the Estes account is so good is because you don’t wait around for loans 98% of the time they are prearranged. You literally drop and hook to the next loan. Unless things have changed since my departure.
@NobieFromTx4 ай бұрын
@@RelentlessEnterprize no I doubt things have changed since your departure. It’s just alot of GibberJabber. I agree with you though , a person with no experience can still make some decent money. I’ll probably do a video on this topic. But to answer your question. I recommend searching on KZbin Hazmat/ Tankers/ Doubles and Triples Endorsements test preparation videos. They do a great job at covering the topics. After that just set up an appointment with your local Motor Vehicle Division. I believe Hazmat requires background check. But double check me on that. Good luck.

You could either bring your own partner with you or you can part take in their partnership program which is just a list of drivers that need a co-driver. The Estes Account is legit. It pays well, they call it an Engineered route. It’s not dedicated, you are still running all over the US however you only go to Estes Yards, and your loads are pre-planned so 90% of the time you don’t have long waits at the Yard for your next load. Hope this helps and good luck. 🤙🏾

@BEARSMIX11 ай бұрын
Should you work for them the simple answer is NO!!!!!! They claim to be a Christian based company yet they have proven otherwise. Years ago a woman was concerned she hadn't heard from her husband in days and the company ignored her requests to check on him. He was finally found deceased days later in the cab of his truck having passed away in his sleep at a truck stop after other drivers where complaining about the order coming from the cab. The company refused to assist in returning the remains to the family, charged them for the return of his property as well as the fees to do the biohazard remediation clean up and repair and rehab the interior.

@RelentlessEnterprize Жыл бұрын
I’d recommend get the experience elsewhere while you wait until May, it will help you continue to sharpen your skills plus you wouldn’t have to go out for the 4 weeks of Training with a trainer you can just go with your cousin once you complete Orientation. If that doesn’t constitute being watched than our definitions are night and day different. At the same time, it is fair to say that your experience was different from mine, but when I am answering someone’s question, I can only give honest answers from my experience.
