Beautiful shots! Well done mate. Brought back many childhood memories of Womenswold. I'm so familiar with Saint Margaret's, as I say welded into my childhood. I also admire what you're doing especially considering the fate of SO many churches in occupied France. Let's hope this one stays standing for many centuries to come 👍🇦🇺

There's someone burried in the churchyard who came from Bishop's Caundle in Dorset. I've worked Bishops Caundle Church, as well as Stourton Caundle Chuch up the road from it 😬

Don't know if you noticed, but the church is built on a slight hump compared to the rest of the surrounding land. Back in the day, this land was probably not well drained, so potentially liable to get flooded. Great video.

The line continues past the Peene museum, through Eurotunnel site then over A20/M20 to swing around past Tescos to meet the main line. You can still see on Google earth the outline of the track via the trees..😀

I grew up in Canterbury. In the early 2000s when we went to the shops in the Sturry area, this place used to absolutely stink. The smell would make you feel physically sick. It's nowhere as near as bad today. I guess they're invested in the site/installed odour control units.
