Great question! There are economies in innovating such as consumer recognition, familiarity with the product, and so on. so there are savings there, on the other hand, a new version make be more attractive because of design and functional improvements. As usual, no simple answer!

Thank you for your comment, I report what I find in the "books", but like you I also wonder about effectiveness and relevance. It appears to me that an act attempting to be all embracive, especially when the world is changing rapidly will need very frequent updates and have to be extremely detailed to cope with our world. My final thought is -- is something better than nothing? If it is useless and ineffective can it be fixed and if not, what is the alternative?

Not directly and certainly not in a definitive or diagnostic (medical) manner. Its purpose is to discuss the topic within a business setting, examine the business related issues. You posed a good question but we think there may be other sites more focused and informative on this issue. I think I have replied to you before, but in any case ... yes many tell us that they have replaced text and reference books with access to out materials. In my case, I would use both, I love books, but the Galton site is also very convenient. Overall, for convenience, I'd use the Galton Site (but remember, I am biased!). Hello, sorry about my delay in getting back to you. Our classes are meant to be "self contained", in other words our students have all the learning materials available to them free from us (on KZbin, we try to make a little money towards our very high expenses). Now your question: We do our best to make all our classes online "self-contained". In other words we encourage our students to ready widely, but we try to provide the essential material. Many business people keep our library page on their 'phones …. and just before meetings refresh their knowledge. From our point of view, we are just happy to help. Thank your your question and stay in touch.

Our way of teaching goes all the way back to the ancient Greeks, our classes have an opening, and middle which is our analysis, and a conclusion based on the analysis. We appreciate your comment, our students and general users often discuss our way of teaching and they appear to love it.
